- This is a great cordless heat gun for those times when power is just not available, or just for convenience. It features two different temperature settings with a lockable trigger. This gun also includes a couple of different nozzles for heating around an object or for concentrated heat.

I can’t tell you how many times I had to drag out a heat gun and extension cord to dry off a hot tub circuit board during a repair. Butane torches worked fine for heat shrink just keep it next to your body until use. But drying a 12” by 12” board took bulk heat. This would have been a god send and the cost be damned. Minnesota winters were harsh on extension cords and the repairmen.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. There are other cordless tools in today’s world that save me an immense amount of time and money. Today’s cordless grinders are a Godsend. Just 5 years ago, they were nowhere near powerful enough. With the battery platforms out there and ever increasing technology, they are a must have. Cost be damned, they more than make their money back. I own 6. Impact wrenches are another one that we get tremendous use out of.

British review is an idiot then. If you want to burn off 100 years old paint sure. This is tool for electricians and works perfectly fine for that.
Battery is not from legal factory DeWalt…
