I’m new to bourbon and I appreciate how you show the store and go through slow. I am knowledgeable about a lot of products. I just don’t have a collection or selection yet. But I watch to see what is out there and to learn more. I do know the Bernheim they had on the shelf is allocated in some states. I know you follow Brewzle like I do. I seen him mention it in the Great WELLER Debacle of 2023 video. If my memory is correct it is a wheater from Heaven Hill. I always watch and think what I would buy there. And I would have purchased the Bernheim. Just because it’s rare in some markets. But great video sir! God Bless and happy new year!
@@chriscunningham5150 Thanks for sharing that. I just started diving into it last year. I still have a lot to learn. I will definitely be putting that Bernheim on my list. Definitely appreciate your support and feedback Hopefully you had a great Christmas Cheers 🥃🥃🥃
You should have picked up that John J Bowman single barrel store pick for $80. Regularly $60, so not too bad for a store pick. Allegedly it’s buffalo trace distillate that’s shipped to VA, distilled again, and then barreled and aged there. One of my favorites. You can also find Bowman Brothers small batch store picks, which are likely single barrels as well.
@@jhw_3 I really thought about that. Don’t see that many JB Single barrel where I’m from. Thanks for sharing that information. Appreciate the support and feedback Cheers 🥃🥃🥃🥃
Love shops that treat everyone like family also. And why not it only helps with sales but everyone doesn't understand that. I never seen an Old Pepper Single Malt before. Very interested to hear your thoughts on it. Their bottle-in-bond bourbon, single barrel Rye and decanter barrel proof are fantastic!
@@fomobourbon615 sounds like I might have made a mistake 😂. I will definitely have to dive into those very soon. Thanks for sharing and watching Cheers 🥃🥃🥃🥃
Ought to try that Cedar Ridge barrel proof, I've got their single barrel barrel proof which is amazing in my opinion, but harder to find than the regular barrel proof.
I have had the michter's American whiskey and thought it was good for the price of $50. Also had their toasted barrel, it was good but not for the price ive seen it available at. If I had the chance to buy it at retail its probably in a lottery and im choosing something else
