Trump did all of that golfing and was still able to fill 3 supreme court seats and still did more interviews than Biden. The media ignoring Bidens obvious mental decline is a part of the problem that's why we are here now.

As a resident of DC, I can assure you: the Democratic Party elites want Trump to win, too. They made TONS of money and got massive tax breaks under Trump. They won't suffer one bit. It explains why they're not really trying that hard to win.
The shame of all this is that if Biden's cognitive decline became glaringly obvious a year earlier, he would have had primary challenges. That would have been a natural way to have let the people decide. Regardless, I am begging everyone to vote a straight Democratic ticket 🙏. Everything is at stake here. Please do not vote third party, that is a wasted vote. Hubert Humphrey lost against Richard Nixon because of a silly third party challenge by comedian Pat Paulsen.

My main issue on all of this is why the media is not going after Trump lying about everything that came out from his mouth during the debate, on all of his rallies and in front of the press. Plus why is Trump not in jail! I am voting for Biden, and if something goes wrong later during his second term, VP Harris will take over and l have confidence on her taking over as president. Trump is mentally not there, he is a life long loser on everything he has done, and a traitor....

Well to be fair the Republicans had a fair primary that actually allowed for an outsider like Trump to win. The DNC has consistently interefered with the primaries which is why we are in this position now. The DNC cancelled primaries in several states including Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina and in Indiana Biden was the only candidate on the ballot so he was chosen he did not win.
That's an informal fallacy! All power is not the same when it needs to be applied to a different source even if the power needed is 100% coming from different entities - Democrats or Republicans. The power needed by the democrats is different because that source of power has a leak called young people and the Arab vote. Where is the power to get Arabs back who were in the democratic coalition for the same reasons that's being pushed, i.e. reproductive rights, project 25, and all the other democratic objectives were there. What are reproductive rights to dead family members?
Trump having the same stance on Israel is still a false equivalence because Arabs and young people who moved away are uncommitted. They didn't go to the Republican party. What's not a false equivalence is their moral stance. There is more power in having that value system than voting for anything that's worse than genocide. They're not looking away!
Yes, but Republican party elites also know how to run the candidates that their voters are enthusiastic about -- even if those candidates are complete clowns. Democratic voters have been signaling for nearly a year that Biden was not interesting to them (for myriad reasons), and rather than find a more-interesting, eminently electable candidate, the party told voters that they were stuck with Biden, like it or not. The Dems didn't even hold full primaries, and they made it very clear that they would fight against any Biden challengers -- which is what they did. We're backed into this ridiculous corner because the DNC gave into Biden's delusions of grandeur rather than the delusions of the electorate. Republicans shape-shift to match their voters. Dems condescend to their voters -- and here we are: no one's excited and Dems are about to be outplayed, again, by a clown -- unless, as Biden said, the Lord Almighty comes down to intervene.

I agree with you, Karen. I’m Biden all the way. Both of these men have been president for 4 years, and Biden has demonstrated he’s capable and 45 was a disaster.
The presidency is not just about the previous four years, but it's also about the next four. There is not one person who sees and hears him who thinks he'll mentally last another four, let alone physically. He needs to step aside and pledge his support for Harris now. Allow her to make appearances to build her up to the public. She's smart, sharp, and can actually say the word "abortion" in an election year abortion is on the ballot in a lot of states.

THANK YOU. My very favorite metaphor for this is that: Republicans and conservatives use arguments and morals like the weapons wheel in GTA. They cycle through their inventory until they find one that works against the enemy right in front of them, and as soon as that stops being effective, they instantly switch to the next weapon. Moral consistency is simply not part of their worldview, the way it is part of ours.

But after retirement, my new "job" is to find new ways to grow and learn. And this requires stepping out of my comfort zone from time to time. It has become quite clear to me that the majority of the podcasts I listen to are mostly people who look like me. And as we all know, the Lord works in mysterious ways, and He somehow had your show come to my attention. And when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Karen Hunter, I've argued with you on occasion hopefully with respect as we learned to do through core English. I also have my passport just in case. I am 98% sure I'm voting for Biden. I know what will happen if Trump gets in office. I'm retired living in Prince George's County. I know the impact of the federal jobs potentially being lost by that narcissistic demon. Lost jobs affect me even if I'm not working. I lived the rust belt experience with lost jobs. It destroyed secondary jobs (small businesses) after Chevy cut jobs! We need an alternative plan from both parties. My kids have degrees from really good schools and good jobs starting out. Their cost to live is increasingly difficult. That's GenZ. That generation would like to have dialogue.

Here's a thought. The day of the debate was very busy for the president. The debate did not start until 9:00 at Eastern Standard daylight Time. The president was wrapping up his long day, of which he has many. trump's just getting warmed up at 9:00 p.m. so he can stay up until 4:00 in the morning on social media. I wonder how alert Trump would be at 8:00 a.m. in the morning to answer questions at a debate LOL😅
Good thing is was a debate and not a nuclear or conventional attack on our homeland. Surely our enemies would never attack after 8pm so nothing to worry about.

Many black pundits, black politicians, and black radio/podcast hosts are saying "black people are standing with Biden". This is deeply frustrating. I do not like being spoken for as a black man. Me and many informed, civic-minded black people I know are not supporting Biden, voting for candidates other than Trump/Biden or are deeply critical of Biden.

If it weren't for the media (cnn in particular), we'd still be in the dark as to the extent of his decline. However, that brings to question why it wasn't reported earlier. Also, there seems to be some question just how messy it would be if he did step aside. The media isn't covering this enough. Are there some rules concerning delegates that could be used against a new candidate?
Why aren’t you worried about Trump’s decline? Biden has done wonderfully, and is surrounded by very competent people.
My opinion is that we need to start focusing on getting out to that Poll on November 5 or get out to Early Voting and vote. That’s what we need to do enough CNN so let be President Joe Biden is the next president of the United States. Thank you.
I listened to the rest of this show & just wanted to comment on the part where you two were talking about Biden doing executive orders to expand the court, get rid of the justices, etc. To my understanding, with the recent immunity ruling the Supreme Court has given the authority to decide what is considered an official act of the President to the judges to decide. If Biden did any of those orders, it would go the court to decide if he was acting in his official capacity & they would deem it unconstitutional. So, essentially what they've done is give Trump/right leaning Presidents a pass. They wouldn't give the same pass to Biden/left leaning Presidents.
Maaaaan I would vote for a box of wet cereal over trump.

The argument for him to "step down" is still an argument for VP Harris to be at the top of the ticket. There is no suitable "replacement" that would have access to the ballot or the funding. The choice is for the mummy or the dummy, but I'm good with the Mummy's team and not the dummy's team.
