@@ArthurGuy-pg3vgYou have no idea what you’re talking about. Most producers have absolutely insane amounts of sample packs and KSHMR’s samples are everywhere. Completely normal across all genres to use sample packs that’s the point.
dk if it's just me, but SM is the only one that can pull act 3 off without getting accused of plagiarism by knet or people feelin sus at all. btw cool video! deffo looking forward to your future videos as well.
ohh no i totally agree when i was looking into these not only were most of act 3 songs from sm entertainment but their also some of the only songs from that section that didn’t get plagiarism accusations! i think it’s a mix of the fact that they do it so much, have been doing it for so long, that they often change up aspects of the song (like the next level beat drop or how mirotic’s lyrical rhythm) and that they always (or usually) clarify that they licensed the songs. only case i think right now where they didn’t license the song was for holler (snsd) and knets absolutely HOUNDED them.. so as of they do it far less frequently then before (and i’m glad you enjoyed the video the next one should hopefully be out soon)

If it's not in full 8 bar similarity and the sample is royalty free or had been paid, that's simply the magic of a music producer to turns out sample into masterpiece songs 😁
SM has been a pro of such a thing and has revolutionized K-Pop by bringing more sounds from other artists. Take note that most of the time, SM works with international producers where they bought licenses or demos of songs for them to finalize and bring their own touch to it. SM is solid to what they are going for, and unfortunately it prohibits their idols to take part in the musical production process except for the vocal performances. NCT might be writing raps or bits of lyrics here and there, but it will always be minimal or just got lucky that it passed SM's usual blind draws.
3:56 this sample is also used in Weeekly's 'Universe' ^^ edit: I just found out that this sample is also used in Triple H's 'Feel', in the pre-chorus part, kinda hard to hear, but it is there!
Pretty sure it it’s in Dun Dun too! During the dance break, you can kind of hear a similar beat to the sample, it could be just similar or the horns are just overpowered by other beats, but I believe they used it. It’s also in Solar ‘Honey’! During the post-chorus/chorus.
"bright lights vocal sample pack" 5:51 I think TGIF by XG also interpolated this but changed the lyrics "When I'm with my ladies oh the party don't stop, and we don't need no fire cus we already hot!" "we don't need no sleepy cus the party don't stop, so put y'all hands on me and turn me on,turn me off"
This is such a great video! When I saw Act 2 I directly thought about Exo's Overdose. The "come in" in the beginning of Overdose is from Tinnie Tempah, you can hear that in his song Earthquake with Labrinth!
also there's a chance that overdose also samples daft punk's harder better faster stronger (the "work it" right after that sounds suspiciously like the beginning to hbfs) but i looked that up on a website meant for finding samples so take it w a grain of salt
5:00 kind of sounds like the beginning of my satisfaction by ive, but i can't tell if it's just my brain making that up because i can't find it listed as a sample anywhere lol. also great video, i enjoyed it!!
ouu inteeresting !! personally i think it's just a gritty synth rather then the rolling bass of district 9 but they definitely have that same repeating note you never know with kpop producers maybe ive decided to just mess with the pitch and add some filters on top of it
kinda sad to see how kpop producers are really influenced by black artists taking into account how the industry treats and appropriates black culture :(
"appropriates black culture" get over yourself 💀 it's not that deep. ik there's racism present (hell, i would know, im brown) but there's no such thing as appropriating a culture, you can only mock a culture intentionally.
@@petrichor_and_fire appropriation very much exists in this genre. K-Pop, their multi-billion dollar export, is inspired by and has taken from black artists since it's inception (Seo Taiji & The Boys being a hip-hop group). i was playing superstar jypnation after i made this vide and i noticed it was the same song and i FLIPPED OUTTTT... i assume that all of the superstar games have sampled royalty-free music for their loading screen/bg music rather then creating new songs coz that'd cost a lot of money and time when the whole point of superstar is to earn money from fans !
Watched this 7 times so i could watch every single one closely! And ones again every one did amazing!!! Im smiling so hard at every single one~~♡ ているのを見ると、俺はいつでもとても幸せなき持ちになるんだ。~♡♡♡
Maybe you've heard it in “Solar - Honey” or “Secret Number - Who dis?” or “Exid - Up and down” or “Xtra - Alexa” or “Drinkin' - Nature” or “Feel - TripleH” or “Weeekly - Universe”. It's also used in “Not shy - Itzy” i think. And used in many of YT's advertisement.(Zomato or Snapchat etc). These are only I can think of.
Someone said the k in K-pop stands for Kshmr
Repeating comment but I had to say it
Lmao i read that too somewhere
And it's true
And that someone wasn't wrong
Not someone but you
0:46 SHAKING THE INDUSTRY QUACKING REALITY MAKING IT ICONIC
Thanks for noticing lol I thought I was crazy😭
i was gonna say i swear ive heard it from somewhere else
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
This channel is doing God's work fr educating toxic kpop stans on what kpop actually is, music.
so weird i also realized the sample at 7:06 is the loading screen song for the superstar jyp game and i never realized it was in 0 mile :0
that was literally the first thing I thought of too
HOLY SHIT
i was thinking of it too
It’s interesting to see the creative twists that different producers have for the same sample. So interesting
this is what's actually the most interesting thing about samples/interpolation to me. How minds interpret the same thing. It's cool.
atp khsmr should produce any kpop song 💀
lbr it would be too powerful

Talking about the first sample 0:20 i can also add $$$ (달라) by (G)I-DLE
also the second sample 0:47 we have Forever by EXO
As soon as i heard the sample at 0:47, i immediaitely guessed forever by exo and I was surprised to not see it included in the video.
As as i heard the sample for the song Thanxx by ateez i already started singing the lyrics
I KNEW I WASNT GOING CRAZY ABOUT THAT NCT SONG SOUNDING LIKE A SUPERSTAR MENU SONG
Finally someone found the sample for VICTON's Im Fine UGH I LIVE FOR IT
not me seeing each sample and immediately saying “yup i know what song this is from” it’s like a fun lil guessing game
3:45 is also used in 'Pick Up The Phone' - Jamie
And the next one also used in 'Who Dis' - Secret Number
OH MY GOD THANK YOU! I could not remember what else that Tarantino Bass sample was from
3:56 this sample is also used in Weeekly's 'Universe' ^^

i think it’s also in secret number - who dis? as well, right at the intro
@@zd122 Yep, it is.
i think it’s also in drinkin by nature? i can’t tell if it’s the same or not tbh my ears are broken
i know this isnt a recent video but in case you ever make another (i love these videos), 5:50 is also the first few lines of TGIF from XG!!
i always like watching these sample videos because its like a guessing game of which songs i can name that used the sample
"bright lights vocal sample pack" 5:51
I think TGIF by XG also interpolated this but changed the lyrics
"When I'm with my ladies oh the party don't stop, and we don't need no fire cus we already hot!"
"we don't need no sleepy cus the party don't stop, so put y'all hands on me and turn me on,turn me off"
I had no idea genie was a remake?? it’s SO good
You can also hear parts of 3:57 all around ITZY's ''Not Shy''
KSMHR>>>>>
I've been getting more into music production and stuff since some time now so I always find this kind of video very interesting !
Thanks
Absolutely! Also if you need quality samples check out ESW they have many free ones too oh and Vengeance Samples are legendary.
INTO THE NEW WORLD BLEW MY MIND
8:58 is also used in HEYDAY by stray kids, but its accelerated :) (didn't see anyone mention is so yeah)
i was expecting fairy of shampoo to come up in this, it’s been covered so many times!! it’s such a lovely song
I haven't hear the other covers, but I really like txt's rendition of it.
That Favorite whisle is memory of every Hindi speaking Indian 90s kid childhood. It was used in Dil To Pagel Hai movie 's - Ay Ay re Kya hua song.
NO WAY SUPERSTAR JYP USED A WHOLE SAMPLE AS THEIR INVENTORY MUSIC
ALSO 7:08 IS IN A SUPERSTAR GAME !?!???😭 it's the loading song omg (Edit; it's in Superstar JYP in the card lvl up menu)

7:07 the ssjyp bg music i cant😭😭
6:30 appears in 'Catallena' by Orange Caramel, 3:21 also appears in the Produce 101 song, something like 나야나. 5:50 sounds like XG 'tgif'
this vid was released 1 year ago which means TGIF is not yet out
0:46 is sampled in ROCKSTAR by Lisa
6:30 is also in chungha's rollercoaster
i love how 90% of songs in the remakes part are from sm
1:38 it's so cool to know where unbreakable comes from.. song slaps so hard
I really appreciate your for making this video, as a musician and kpop stan, this is a blessing!
Finally I know why Into the new world sounded familiar on the first listen. THANK YOU!❤️
KSMER runs K-Pop fr
Dance music in general
8:57 's this sound was sampled in HeyDay by 3RACHA ❤
I'm in sheer admiration of your content and I can only aspire to someday be like you, really, you are doing exactly what I wish I could do!
If I'm not wrong the one in 0:47 is also a sample for Spicy by CL
Yup!
Waoh samples built SM literally
7:25 All I can think of when I hear that sound is "TICK TOCK HEAVY LIKE A BRINKS TRUCK"
ateez, nct, and blackpink are soooo unique in making their songs😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
00:48 this sample is also used in forever by EXO
the genie one kinda shocked me ngl
I literally grew up listening to Boys of Summer by Don Henley and I was today years old when I realized ITNW uses the same melody🤯
5:00 kind of sounds like the beginning of my satisfaction by ive, but i can't tell if it's just my brain making that up because i can't find it listed as a sample anywhere lol. also great video, i enjoyed it!!

It's also like loco by itzy intro (kind of)
5:50 XG recently interpolated this in TGIF
"Act 3 (Covers/Remakes)"
oh don't be afraid to label them what they truly are.
0:17 It also is almost if not identical to (g)-idle's money :>
3:56 And I can hear Secret Number's Who dis? in that
BTW Nice video! Keep it up :D
3:57 I think I also heard on a song titled "Who dis" can't remember what group but the chorus goes "Who dis *raps* *then the sample on the bg*"
secret number
Yeah that's SN
if im not wrong then the one at 6:53 is in batter up by baby monster. which is interesting because yg used it in lisas song too.

khsmr #1 kpop fan
i cant belive i never picked up on boys of summer and into the new world that just blew my mind
THAT GIRL FRONT SAMPLE OMG how did i not notice it until now
7:13 is the SUPERSTAR (idk which game, I think JYP) lobby song
the first sample is also found in the beginning of (g)i-dle's "$$$"!!
12:15 How the original version seamlessly blends in the GG version
Twice Breakthrough Mercury Synth Loop 2:03
Impact Clippy Steppy Bass 5:36
THAT kpop Mmmmmhm 6:29
5:50 sounds SOOO much like TGIF by XG as well!
Jo Kwon and Whale also did a BANGER remake of Dunk Shot back in 2009!
7:06 I think it's also the sound of the inventory in JYPSUPERSTAR ASJJASJSJASJ😭
7:23 the aah sample can also be found in a yamaha rack module
Oh? Didn't know ITNW used a sample!
I don't know why I laughed at the 90's love one😭
Some of them actually remake by SM 😅

this was a great compilation~ thank you!! just a little thing i'm not sure if you knew: most of the audio is panned to the right 😭
Oh my I'm mind blown, may I add this channel is so interesting I might be lurking around for a while ;)
5:50 Xg also sampled that with their song TGIF
I think another one for Act 3 is Jordan Fisher's All About Us and NCT 127's Fly Away With Me

4:58 District 9 oh nooooo
Why "oh no"?
now we got frere jacques with young dumb stupid by nmixx 😂i thought it sounded like something from when i was little and i was right
1:53 wow thanxx
1:52 reminded me of mamamoo's egotistic
4:05 and 4:06 would form a top remix.
wow take off... dunno why i'm so surprised tho but still 😅 along with other nct samples as well
“Bpm140_C#_GhostShell02_” “Future Trap” also was sampled in “Mafia in the morning” - by ITZY (if I’m not mistaken)
The first moment I heard Good Evening by Shinee, I instantly thought of Cupid by 112. Both are my favorite songs from each artist.
1:53 🇵🇸 ❤️
7:06 isn't that the bg music of superstar jyp lol (the inventory one)
7:06 is also sampled in the music ssjyp (superstar jyp) plays when you visit ur inventory 😅
7:06 isn't this the jyp superstar home screen music LMAO
Isn't it from inventory menu?
YES
6:04 I knew it. Favorite sounded to Bollywoodcore to me

0:17 Also Dollar - (G)idle
4:05 also 'Who dis?' by Secret number :)
So true so true
