Small tip. You can use the actual key to disassemble the case. It has flat part at the end which fits into that hole and turning the key the way side edge will lift does the job. So no external tools needed :)

Thank you very very much. I have seen so many other video's moving around the edges, wreching open by turning the key ... all way too brute force. The little slot, once you notice it, is the obvious easy way to open it.

I'm not sure why dealerships charge so much money to change a key battery, i can understand it when programming is involved, but most batteries are a 2 minute job!

You don't need to find a screwdriver, the end of the key is flattened to do this.

Hazards like not working when using the key blade to open the car only the drivers side opens , and that’s all that happens , tested the key fob battery it is over 3, would I be miles away to think it is the actually the car battery which is flat? Hi it’s all sorted now, turned out to be the car battery itself , as I was using the spare key and using the key reader I think it has drained the car battery with lack of use over this lockdown , thanks again
