Just curious what you think ... can we consider Swami Tadatamanda our guru, even though we never interact with him and only 'know' him though his videos?

🕉️🙏Sublime teaching.. just simply the BEST study one could ever undertake.. to reveal the BEST news you could ever hear in this whole creation… for Ever & Always.. What deep in my heart I have always known.. Nothing the mind says can compass this final truth.. yet these holy words work.. they must come from pure love. 🕉️🙏🌸🌳🌏⭐️✨🕉️

Just curious what anyone thinks ... can someone watching online consider Swami Tadatmananda his or her guru, even though they never interact with him and only 'know' him though these videos?

      Namaste 🙏
I have been lucky enough to listen to Swami Ji’s teachings since Covid times - from start of Bhagavad Gita classes and haven’t missed a class or published video since then .
I was not raised with any religion or teachings . I have a deep connection with these teachings presented here by Swami Ji that I could never garner from studying the scriptures on my own . My daily life is all towards practising these teachings diligently .
Many of us are not living in an environment or society where there is access to guru face to face , to guide us in a way that we might imagine that two-way guru-shishya relationship might be…
In these times (of peak capitalism and ecological destruction).. we might well be even further in the dark . The blessing of receiving Swami Ji’s teaching through the internet is wonderful and touches all our lives profoundly .
As was said above - we can see Shree Krishna as guru , Surya as guru , animals even ! I don’t know.
But ultimately we have to discover for ourselves what the reality is. Perhaps that is the challenge of living in these times.
All I know is we can be thankful for having access to Swami Ji’s teachings in this form . 🙏🙏🙏🌿🌺🌷💐

Why not? A guru is someone who removes ignorance.

Swamiji always begins his classes “welcome to so many students attending regularly theses classes”. So, I am a student and he is my teacher or guru. It is true that it is not a close relationship as in the past in a small ashram living with the guru.
To me it is more important for this relationship the attitude we have when we receive his teachings. Respect for the guru and sraddha, trust in his words.
      Namaste,

I wonder about that too.. I haven’t heard that question put to the Swamiji in any Q&A’s yet. Why not ask him? I’ll send in a question as well 🙏🌸. At the very least what is offered online here is excellent preparation. There’s tons of material.
