This why I always watch your shows. Great info and how any DJ can upgrade the look of the booth.

Thanks for the video Mike. Good job of explaining the truss and clamps. I purchased the Pro X Station and truss about a year ago. I used the truss twice and found it too time consuming to setup and you almost need two people to use it. The side poles on mine got stuck and trying to clamp them to the table is exasperating, especially if you are in hot weather and have time constraints on your setup time. It was a good idea but engineered badly in my opinion. I would never recommend the truss to anyone. Mine sits in storage now.

Hey thanks for the comment and I agree, awesome concept however, there are several issues with the design and the misleading pipe size! Not sure why they wouldn't have made it a standard "1-1/2 or "2 not only would it be easier to transfer lighting clamps from my other ProX truss, but would've made it more sturdy, because at height it's really shake. That trussing is not mine but I was considering it for my middle of the road package... prolly not gonna go that route

Hey Mike, great review. I have that very same booth. I really like it. It can be a pain to put together if the top sections come off. I'm looking into buying this truss system. Where did you get the mounting clamps? I didn't see a link. Also I found that ProX makes a set of stands ProX XF-MStand. I would like to know your thoughts on those. Keep up the good work I'll keep watching.

Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! I never remove the top sections anymore... lol I used to because I didn't realize they could stay on..I'll get you the link for the clamps... are you asking about the monitor stands? Personally I don't use monitors only subs and mains, but I looked em up and ProX always delivers on quality, so if that's what you need. Personally I like the Rockville rtp32 totem package, which you can uplight and use as monitor stands...they're versatile and match our booth

Would that truss kit fit onto my Rockville Rockbooth XL?

Hey Joe, I'm not sure exactly, because it's made specifically for the ProX mk2 mesa booths and it's not really adjustable

@@DJMikeJames if at all possible, could you lmk what the measurements are of the area of your booth the truss clamps onto? So I could compare it to mine?

The real measurement you need to worry about is the width of your booth.. so that the mounting poles line up and mine is like 53in wide
