Thank you so much for the honor and chance to see this cemetery. I've seen the one by the office a few times, but knew this one existed but couldn't be toured. I'm so happy to see where Pine Island rests, as I was at Churchill Downs when she had her fatal injury. This video is so informative and greatly done. Thank you Claiborne staff.
This is just unbelievable, Swale, my favorite ever!!!!The bloodline of the Top and bottom of the great, great Thourobreds of all time. Being a Ky. Boy,it's indescribable. The great first class Claiborne Farm!!

Thank you for providing the video of this tour. It's a great testament to the dedication Claiborne has shown to their horses, mares and stallions alike, over the decades, and how rare to be able to see and hear the history of so many great horses and their contribution.

Thank you for this tour. I've been a long time fan of the Claiborne and Phipps broodmare lines. I also have seen most of those stallions in person on my first visit to your farm in September 1989 at the main stallion barns and also at the Marchmont division and on two subsequent visits.
Not one comment was made about The greatest race horse of all time his name is Secretariat.....Secretariat went to Claiborne on November 11th 1973 to stand at Stud.....Im a Historian on Secretariat....Big Red Secretariat past on October 4th 1989...You ARE A TIMELESS LEGEND MY SECRETARIAT.....
Secretariat is buried next to the farm office
Just because Secretariat is buried at Claibourne doesn't mean everything needs to be about him. He was a great horse, I'll admit, but he's not the only great horse that resided at Claibourne
@@anubias_twistSo true. I wish that Spectacular Bid also rested at Claiborne, where he spent most of post-racing life. Such an extraordinary athlete 🌟 His grave is in Upstate NY.
Ruffian is now buried in Marchmont Cemetery (relocated from Belmont Park in Aug. 2023). I hope to visit her someday.
I wish Claiborne would make a Mr. Prospector in depth documentary about he and his progeny. At least update his wiki page. He surely deserves it. So many superhorses were born from his bloodline here in the States and across the pond.
Amazing that he has the bloodlines of these horses memorized.

She’s buried at the former Meadow Stud Farm in Doswell, VA (the Chenery Family’s former business & Secretariat’s birthplace).
The site is now called the Meadow Event Park, where one can do a self-guided walking tour of the historic bldgs & property. It’s on my bucket list to do that & place flowers on Somethingroyal’s grave, in thanks ❤

I am sorry to have to tell you that your Camera is OUT OF FOCUS. IT'S ALL BLURRY.
YOU REALLY NEED TO REDO THAT WITH A DIFFERENT CAMERA PERSON, THAT HAS EXCELLENT EYESIGHT, AND ALSO HAS IT IN FOCUS AND FOCUSED PROPERLY.
NOBODY CAN READ A THING BECAUSE THE CAMERA MAN OR PERSON, HAS EVERYTHING COMPLETELY OUT OF FOCUS, AND IT'S ALL BLURRY AS WELL TO BOOT.
