New subscriber excellent video thanks much for sharing. I’ve made others with different style ends but I think I’ll give these a try. Thanks again Artie 👍👍👍
Thank you ! I purchased the banana plugs , a bag full and the screws were just loose in the bag, I could not figure out how to put these together , I never guessed the screws went inside the pin. I felt like an idiot and you can’t solder the wire to the pin ,,,,,,,,,, thank you again great video well made
Late to the party but the TS100 is been my circuit board repair soldering iron from the start. It has to be the best one I have used on a small budget starter set up. Of course really big wires it doesn't do all that well bet will always do better than the butane soldering irons.
so when you load test your circuit do you find out how much amperage the device draws then load test circuit with same amount of draw from your lights or do you justt guess?is it ok to add too much amp drae since were just placing a bulb long enough to light up or is that bad?also do you remove the device on that circuit when you load test your circuits?
It depends on the circuit. Usually the circuit only operates at half the fuse rating that is protecting it. Say it has a 15amp fuse you will normally only see 7-8amps. If you are testing a solenoid most are around 0.5-1.5 amps
have you got a link for the 9007 bulbs you used? All i can find is hid bulbs.Cant seem to find any stackable connectors aswell. The link doesnt work anymore. Thanks!!
Here are the stackable connectors. Note the long shipping time. They ship from the USA sometimes. www.ebay.com/itm/10PCS-4mm-Shrouded-Fully-Insulated-Stackable-Banana-Male-Plug-Connector-5-Colors/164533372665?hash=item264ef406f9:g:4dwAAOSwpXFdIuE3
I used 9007 connectors like this www.ebay.com/itm/2x-9007-9004-Female-Wire-Connector-Wiring-Harness-plug-socket-adapter-Waterproof/373409397701?hash=item56f0ef3bc5:g:2W0AAOSwoS9f6mVx
I really enjoy watching your videos they can save a lot of money making your own test wires thanks for showing us how to do it
Glad you like them!
Thanks Rob i’ll be busy today 😊
Going to make one now. Thanks
Pretty cool test lights. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to watch!

Also remember light bulbs and motors pull a lot of current when starting up so sometimes the initial spike can be way over the fuse rating.
Great video
What are you all using as the plastic cover for the 9007 ?
They came on HID bulbs I bought 10 years ago.
@@RobertDotterer ok thanks
Links no longer work for jacks...any recommendations on brands to go with for jacks and maybe a recommendation on the correct wire to make leads also.

I'll try to get some links for you. If you don't hear back from me in the next two days leave another comment. With the holiday I may get sidetracked.

@@RobertDotterer Thank you sir really appreciate it!!
You're welcome
👍👍
Thank you!
what gauge wire do you use to make the leads?
Which leads?
Sorry.. I meant the ones on the bulb holders. Is it 14awg? Thanks.
I think they are 14g. They came with the holder.
All that bulb rotating reminds me of plugging in a USB cable
Jeez.... can I just buy one?? No way that's cheaper/time efficient for me
You can never have to many test leads or lights...
That is true, I have a lot.
Your ebay links are dead.
