- Tragedy takes a toll on everyone involved, and it often causes people who usually get along well to take their emotions out on each other. Apparently, things are not going well in the home of Vanessa Bryant, who lost her husband Kobe Bryant and her daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash in January 2020.
Now, Vanessa’s mother, Sofia Laine, has given an interview where she accuses her daughter of kicking her out of the house, which comes as quite a shock, as apparently, Kobe was quite close to her. Let’s take a look at the real reason why Vanessa Bryant is fighting with her mom.

Families fight all the time but when someone is at their lowest point from a loss this great, you don't go on a tv show airing dirty laundry out. That's an all time low for any person. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
It is true the mother is doing no good with this... But saying don't bite the hand that feeds you is ridiculous.. ones upon a time vanessa was a child that no one cared for but her mother she fet her she took care of her... No matter how dirty my mother is I'll always love her and never take anything away from her especially if I can easily afford it.. but shame on both sides.
@Belin Romero, What kind of person is she?? She's the kind of person that would influence a husband to be estranged from his parents, grandparents, and sisters. Her mother influenced her, but due to ignorance and greed, she didn't know about the laws of nature, which are God's laws. For both of them, you reap what sow, and the truth will come to light. I hope their battle will be a closure for the 20 years they tormented Kobe's parents. Until Vanessa repent and receive Salvation, she is in for a long haul which money can not resolve. Her mother is not exempt, either.
I stand by what I said. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. She's on social security plus her daughter pays for all the bells and whistles she has. She can easily continue to live on social security and if they even found out she was receiving extra income she would be cut off and required to back pay.

Well, Vanessa seems to be suing everyone around , for the crash......rightly so, however, she also sued the LAPD for allowing pics from the crash to be passed around. She seems comfortable with lawsuits that will bring her even more money, so, it seems, she is able to care for her finances, without any concern for public opinion. Her husband was a public man but became private when he died.

It’s sad but I think their maybe a different side of Vanessa that the public has not seen. Kobe’s parents reportedly did not like Vanessa and have been estranged for years and now this? Vanessa didn’t even let Kobes parents speak at their own sons funeral. They weren’t even acknowledged! Vanessa didn't have the respect or decent courtesy to acknowledge his parents. His parents felt just as much pain for losing their child as she did when she lost her child.

The truth is coming out like most of us knew about Vanessa's mom. They took care of her mom for 20 years, but it was an issue on Kobe's mom.

Children do not have a legal obligation to support their parents. If parents are financially impaired children should voluntarily consider providing assistance if they can. In the case of Vanessa Bryant, she has zero obligation to provide for her mother regardless of her fortune. Her mother has income and she should not feel that she is entitled to her daughter's money. Vanessa resents her mother's greedy interest in her fortune and her lack of emotional support in her time of grief. Generosity from others has to come naturally and not be forced because one feels entitled. Shame on Vanessa's mother for her actions against her daughter.
