"Is bon bon really that big". yes the funtimes along with ballora and baby were made to lure, capture and kill kids with their own unique tactics as seen in their respective blueprints. they each contain a piece of the original 5 missing kids because afton melted the endo's of the ogs without putting them in separate containers so the souls got all jumbled together and ennard contains the whole 5 kids
Bon-Bon is indeed a separate animatronic with his own AI and, technically, his own movement capabilities with clever momentum in use of his arms and ears, even though he doesn't have legs. He's built to act like a hand puppet for Funtime Freddy, after all, so he has his own personality and voice, and he does indeed try to calm Freddy in his more... volatile and unstable moods. And yes, he's that big. Funtime Freddy, the one in SL, is a somewhat smaller model than the initial prototype which is seen in the CTW book, which rivals the Twisted animatronics in size at around ten feet counting the hat extending, while the SL one is only around 7 to 8 feet, as the CTW one was intended to be able to fit any person within, whereas the SL one isn't able to do that. Bon-Bon and Bonnet, who are identical in size, are around 2 feet tall from torso base to the head, the ears are another sizable addition in height. These things are huge.
