Hi, As a person who sews, but also loves to collect fabrics, I have a suggestion. If you store your fabrics in full sunlight, it’ll bleach over time. My suggestion is to cover your fabrics when you’re not using them so they don’t loose color.
I have a question for you. Idk if you sew fleece liners or have guinea pigs but since you are on this channel I assume you do. My fleece liners are always hard to sweep bc the center is too loose as if there is extra fabric. When I brush the broom across the fleece it drags the fleece and is crumples up. I have no clue if that made any sense but if you have any ideas I’d love them. I never have this issue with my smaller things like their pee pads.
@@tylerl4472 I do sew, but I lost my piggy last spring. That can happen in the wash. I would say after your next wash, make it as flat as you can and then iron it. At times the interior can shrink differently than the outside. You could also try to tack it with a stitch.
It is so important to have a dedicated work area so when you are done, you can mentally shut the door on your work day. Being able to physically shut the door will help too. 😀 it will help you to have more balance in your life. I so look forward to seeing how you end up decorating your work room.
a perfect plant would be a golden pothos on that windowsill or wall buy the closet door and window even a large cat palm that could be a nice 3-4ft floor plant you could even set it on a small off the floor base so it is a little more pleasing to the eye with the taller ceilings
If u buy a high quality paint u only Need one coat. Saves u lot of time and money in the end since u only need 1/3 of the paint. I did a dark grey Wall and painted it white in one coat, its perfect
I know this is old, so I’m late, but I’ll answer anyway! I would have made the closet fabric and sewing accessories storage! I would’ve made extra deep shelves if possible, so you can just stuff fabric rolls in there, not having to take it off the roll/cardboard! Yepp, would be sooo great! Much more that than having clothes there! Would make the sewing studio so much more tidy looking and nicer to work in! BTW, I saw you had made a «sleeping bag» or hiding spot like a sleeping bag for the rescue piggies. I was wondering what you do with the upper edge or opening of it, to help it stay open so it’s easy for them to get in and out of. I found that a strip of foam inside the edge gives it just the hold it needs to stay open… Just thoughtI’d mention it in case you haven’t tried this solution… 🤗
Next time you are going to put together something like this desk, turn the box until you see where it’s put together and carefully open the box up. That gives you easy access to all the parts and a large sheet of card board to use to build your table on, protecting the floor and the new piece of furniture!!! 🤗💓

@@steph322 Try a spider plant. Their color will start to fade when it gets thirsty. Give them a good drink and let them be until the leaves fades again. If you aren’t sure about how much water to give you can bottom water them- stick them in a dish with a few inches of water and the soil will absorb it from the bottom up. You can buy moisture meters for around $10 that help with under/ over watering.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with my piggies while I’m away? I have to go away for four days for my brother’s graduation and I don’t know anyone who knows how to take care of guinea pigs. I’m going about an 8/9 hour drive away and I could take them bc my brother has an apartment but I don’t want to put them through that stress if there I can find something else.

I just painted a spare bedroom with my mom the other day and I’m honestly in shock at how much easier it appears for you to paint than it was for us. If there’s not a ladder we can’t reach the last foot and a half of the wall and you’re able to cut the corners on your tippy toes 💀

Start with a ZZ plant. Super low maintenence probably only needs water every 2-3 weeks. Low light friendly. ✨️
