I doubt some employers would outsource interstate - depending which field you do. Especially IT, if thats the case, why wont they outsource it overseas - cheaper to pay the employee. Some jobs in QLD pay less than VIC and NSW. As it depends on the job you do though. Great content btw, keep it up :)

While I agree with what you're saying and the many the perks of living in QLD. I simply can't stand the heat so I'll be staying in NSW unfortunately. Having said that, I will be moving to the central coast from Sydney which is a better lifestyle.

QLD housing market never fully recovered from the last bubble burst, when people went from paying 5% rates to 12% many people lost their 2 million dollar homes. Crippling QLD, that is why you can pick up a nice house in a good area for only $600,000 AUD. Because QLD is so large, it has more room to expand thus house price growth is harder to achieve. Moving there will end up being a cost negative investment for the average family.
as a South Australian I agree with "not a great deal of appeal" for anyone to move here....LOL, although thanks to our great liberal government we escaped the madness of the health crisis pretty much unscathed

I am priced out of South East Queensland and I couldn't buy anything decent here so I bought a lovely home in Perth!😆😆 The cost of living is high all over Australia mate but undoubtedly Perth is the most affordable City to buy a property! What I was not able to do in the East Coast of Australia, I am able to do it in Perth so I will move into my house next April in Perth!😉👍
Hay that's good to hear you got into your own place. I lived most of my life in WA so just a few tips for you. The cost of living is high there, 25 to 50% higher than QLD, so be sure to look around for the cheapest shopping centers, they vary drastically from suburb to suburb and look out for speed cameras they are every where. lol... be careful of suburbs with names that end with an A. Good luck hope you do well 👍 Ps, when I made this video houses where 30% cheaper here in QLD than they are now.

As of July 2023 if you do not purchase a place in Queensland you will not find a place to rent because the Queensland government are hitting all the property owners that are investors with a higher tax, and at this stage most of them are selling up or selling what they can to get out of Queensland. As I am one of them.
Large chunk of Australia's GDP has to do with Melbourne/Sydney which is why people flock there. Same story as always, if there are jobs they will come. If you can find employment in a rural area or one of the cheaper states and have reliable employment you are way in front imo. We have lived in rural SA, but close to the city, for 30+ years, I have always been employed but mostly a 1 income family and not a high income. Be smart about it and you can do very well indeed.
@@mdnazmul-vm9ib Damn this is an old one. I always suggest that people look for larger regional centres that have a variety of different industries and job types. If you have transferrable skills such as a trade, nursing, teaching or whatever you shouldn't have much of an issue finding work. I can't say which is the best but it shouldn't be too hard to check out available jobs, housing costs etc.

Many of my friends are struggling for savings and gets less pay for job. Also I'm coming for carpentery and currently I'm in middle east, want to shift for high wages and work remotely. So I don't have no idea which city would good for building construction and carpentery shortage. Please help me out.
