    I see comments here saying some people are not racers. I think these are good exercises even if you are a cinewhoop guy/girl, orbiting something or someone smooth and steady is a very convinient skill. Good video!

  • @sylvanlight120

    As you mentioned... Throttle control is crucial for not blowing out on a corkscrew or any turn really. Just that slight lift off just before the turn and through the turn. Good stuff.

    • @MaiOnHigh
      @MaiOnHigh  4 года назад +1

      Yeah we need some lessons and tracks on throttle control 😎 on it!

    • @sylvanlight120
      @sylvanlight120 4 года назад

      @@MaiOnHigh think the reason for having more control on a corner with a slight ease off of throttle is nearly the same when racing in a car. When you ease off throttle, the weight of the vehicle is transfered forward, closer to the end of the vehicle that needs the grip for turning. Like a car, a quadcopter uses it's front motors most to turn. Especially the front outside motor. I don't have Velocidrone, just DRL. Do you know if Velocidrone runs on an AMD CPU and GPU? As just like the DCL sim, Velocidrone has no running requirements listed for an AMD computer, just Intel!!

      55.07, best lap 17.06 with a Meteor 65. I’ll try it with a Betafpv75X next. I’m not likely to be flying a 5” in real life anytime soon, so I practice with whoops in the sim, but that may change as I improve. I look forward to flying your other tracks. I made my back yard gates like the one in your sim. Made them out of pex pipe and rebar from Lowes wrapping the pex pipe with swim noddles to help make them a little easier to see. Just up graded to the multi gp gates and they are super easy to fly through with more speed. I guess once I get use to the extra speed go back to the smaller gates?

      I think Mode 2 ist most common. I have the TX16S too and I'm very happy with it. I just got the special GNB 5000mAh Battery for it as an replacement for the shitty 18650 I had before. I'm very excited about the expected longer runtime. With the TX16S and it's multi module it's a very good radio. If you prefer this type over gamepad style radios. When lining up for the turn around the gate, is there a specific point that you focus on? I find that on left turns I need to force myself to see only the farthest left point on the gate and I aim for that to make a tight turn. Opposite for right. Otherwise I end up blowing the corner real wide. Throttle control seems to be a big part of this.

    • @MaiOnHigh
      @MaiOnHigh  4 года назад

      Yes throttle control is important. I just try to do my turns as tight (but safe) as possible. It will come with practice... As it's hard to set a point to focus on in this situation
