I think the only reason why is because The Rock obviously was there if anyone was allowed to attend then you would see more than just family members showing up.

I was thinking the same thing T A.. Covid R.i.P Rocky Johnson. One of the best.
It's possible that either the family did not know that Rocky and Tony squashed things, or maybe they still were salty even though they did. You know how family can get. A funeral is the best-place to bury grudges and unforgiveness.
Not all the time a lot of times new grudges and new feudes and grudges starts epsepcally with family
I'm surprised that he wasn't invited. Tony and Rocky were scheduled to do some events together. Rocky passed away and then COVID hit.

Johnson and Atlas (known as the 'Soul Patrol', named after the Raiders (football) secondary in the 70's = Jack “The Assassin” Tatum, strong safety George “The Hitman” Atkinson, cornerback Willie Brown and cornerback “Dr. Death” Skip Thomas) won the tag belts in late 83' and lost them in April of 84', NOT 83' as Atlas says and Rocky stayed on until mid 85'. I know this as I am a fan and lived in the same town and went to the same gym as Rocky.
That's a shame that Tony wasn't invited to the funeral.

@@gregorylevi1826 There’s always two sides to the story. Rocky Johnson had a rep in the biz as being temperamental and difficult to work with. Not to mention he physically and emotionally abused the Rock’s mother.

Vince just don't give many opportunities like he should, Ioved rocky johnson, I really loved how swift he was, so as a kid I would go outside and do the same type of moves like rocky johnson, so that's why I was so swift and fast because, God blessed me with raw talent coming up and it stayed with me years and years after, he's why I became as good as I was. I copied everything this man did, everyone don't born with that type of raw talent, but I think God I did and rocky johnson brought out mine because it was already there, so I was a great athlete all through school and playing football field and track, I also wrestled in school and rocky johnson moves always stuck with me, so this the first time I ever talked about this, but my favorite all time wrestler, when I was growing up as a kid was steve keirn, I was steve keirn crazy, I really want to get a chance to meet steve one day, my wife have family in Tampa FL, so I may strole around over to his wrestling training site to meet him one day!!!--

He said out his own mouth in a video "Me and Rocky were never friends".. dogged him pretty bad in that video. The family probably saw the video and didn't want him to attend.
@@billblaski9523 Nope, they were not friends. Tony have been dissing Rocky for years even though Rocky bailed him out and has helped him. He's talk bad about him in his book and countless of shoot interviews. Have everyone thinking Rocky was a pos and a bad guy. Now Atlas has been stating Rocky wasn't a bad guy since his death.

I saw him in the late 80’s in SoCal when he was with a short lived operation called “CCW” or “California Championship Wrestling”. Used to hold shows in a place that drew about 200 people…………the matches are on here if you look them up. Snuka and Victor Rivera were also in it

Dwayne gave Tony a loan according to Rocky Johnson that Tony never paid back . Dwayne told his dad he is done with him .

Not being invited is not a reflection of the person who passed, but others, so there's nothing to feel bad about because that person would have wanted you there.
I think Atlas is overestimating his friendship with Rocky. They truly didn't get along.

Shawn michaels in central states wredtling in tag match. While in wwf shawn michaels & dave Peterson vs. Rocky johnson & ric hanson. The last time Rocky johson teamed with Tony atlas was nov 23 1984 wwf Hartford ct atlas & johnson defeated valentine. & schultz. Rocky wrestling. Hated losing to roddy piper in wwf. Also too iron sheik, paul orndorff ken patera & big John studd. Rocky was in wwf during wrestlemania 1 not used at mania. 3 31 1985.Rocky goes to Polynesian wl restling(Hawaii) soon after departing wwf to help his family promotion won tag titles 8-3-85 In sept & oct 85 in cwa Memphis for jerry Jarrett. Oct 1985-feb 1986 in csw
