Yes I had a few more handmedown pieces but I wasn’t sure if heritage pieces would interest viewers so I just decided to forgo them 😅 My grandma’s chrysoberyl ring is my favourite but I’m debating bringing it into the jeweller to have them redo the setting in the exact same way… When I resized it initially at a different jeweller they completely ruined the shape of the ring itself and it wasn’t circular at all. Thank you! It’s been about 3 weeks since I’ve had the ring and I’ve gotten over the anxiety of using it so it’s been a part of my daily jewellery 😌

Congrats on your ring, it's beautiful. I'm looking at the T wire bracelet myself. It's pretty affordable it seems and easy to take off and on. Question for you - Are you going to get more classic flaps? If yes, what color? Thinking about getting one myself? Are you into Hermes at all or mostly stick to Chanel and other brands?
I’ve tried on the wire bracelet too and it’s so delicate and beautiful! I just couldn’t see myself not breaking it as it’s not solid and with my two dogs constantly jumping at me it would be a total disaster. I am not sure about having more classic flaps; if I do get another I think I would get it in caviar leather so I wouldn’t have to be as careful as I am with my lambskin. And as for Hermes, I’ve had pretty good experiences in the Zurich and Frankfurt stores, and then an awful one in Barcelona 😅 I went in to ask about the Picotin for my mom. Honestly the Barcelona boutique put me off of even wanting to go inside Hermes for a while. I think that in terms of bags I’m most comfortable using the ones I have in the 2500-3000 price range compared to my Chanel just because I tend to reach for them a lot more without worrying. Especially my Gucci denim horsebit and Loewe puzzle bag… always my go-to’s, I’ve never babied them and still look just as great as they did when new 😊
Hahaha the fear is real !! Happens to me every time.. Once I start using my jewelry, purses, etc.. I start to feel more comfortable.. The ring is really beautiful !! But as you say, overpriced!! I think sometimes it is a good idea to make the pieces that you like, with a jeweler, for fraction of the price.. I hope I explained myself, cause english isn’t my first language!! Yes exactly! And I totally agree, going to a jeweller to have them imitate a style you like is usually much better than paying for the brand, especially for jewellery where people don't usually immediately know the brand anyways. In the case for my ring, I think an independent jeweller could make it for less than 50% of the price, since the diamonds are so tiny, like grains of sand 🙄 Your English is perfect!
