@Mike Sisk Oooooh! You got a Talkboy!!!! my dream toy!!!! You lucky you Have been looking at your tutorials, thanks for sharing, very helpful. Going to do a Pitch mode as you did on my old 1991 sony walkman WM. You say you replaced the original pot of your walkman with a 20 k0hm linear potentiometer, my problem is that the speed control pot of mine is only 32 Ohm (I checked the manual repair, in the speed ajustement section). Am I going to break anything if i replace it with a 5 k 10 k or 20 kOhm pot? I don't know what to choose as I suspect an additional resistance to sit before it on the board. (No value mentioned.) But this is very low compared to yours ^^
No, you won’t break it by trying different value pots. That is exactly how I do it. Trial and error. Many different values will probably work. Some will just give better range of control.
@@martymcfly8007 hmmm, I’m not sure what you mean? Are you talking about the trimmer that is already on the board? If there is a small trim pot on the original Walkman circuit board I would first see what value it it. And then try replacing it with a normal pot that is maybe 5-10 times larger in value and then work my way down through different values until I get a good range of control.
@@SISKworks yes, the value mensioned of the original pot of the walkman indicate only 32 Ohm, here are pictures if it can help ibb.co/WF3rzB8 ibb.co/FgPBBg0 ibb.co/xsvXz9R
Very nice.
Very nice...relaxing tape loop session...🎧🌴🌊😎
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great sounds ! Thank you :)

@@SISKworks Thank you!!! the description of the electric board says input impedance is 1 M 0hm... is that a problem?
