    There was also replacement seats in 68-69 which didn’t have the welded reflector tab and came with a separate bracket that mounted to the Q bolts which held the reflector.

    Awesome description of the manufacturer and their collaboration with Schwinn. I wonder if the other seat companies put a bid in to get the seat contract with them. Interesting facts! Thanks Rico!

      @jaimefernandez3076 ya, one thing I didn't cover is you'll find these on these on other bikes of the same era. The Huffy Penguin was the first to use it in 62. Only months before Schwinn. The 65 Murray wild cat has the exact same Wald handlebars as the early rays as well. Persons had a hard time selling the seats until the pig bike of 62 in So.Cal. made the seats real popular.

      @jaimefernandez3076 lots of innovations happened in California, which is why I believe even lowriders were born here. New Mexico is trying to take that claim.
