I typed in "treadmill whining noise" and yours was the first video to pop up - just by chance I have the exact same treadmill. Turns out the vinyl had lifted and was rubbing against the moving belt. Now fixed! Cheers mate!
@@AudreyToyomoto This was 10 years ago - but as i recall, i removed the casing as he does here, and adjusted where the belt was sitting because it was rubbing against the sides. should just be able to to move it across so its back in the middle once you have the casing off
Thanks Champ! Just bought a used one today and took it apart a bit to see what the noise was and is missing some tensioning nuts. plenty of gold nugget advice in your top video :-) thanks for making it 🙂
NOTE: This product works exactly as described. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(!!) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!
I have had my machine about 8 months. 2 of those months was waiting for it to be repaired. The new part came in and the service man fixed it but I had just had foot surgery so was not able to get on it for 4 weeks. About a month ago I was able to start using it but noticed that it was very loud. I called customer service and after being on hold for over an hour the guy I talked to said nothing was wrong with it. I did get the extended warranty so I called that number but the machine has to be over 1 year old for them to do anything...
My treadmill started to have a smell last night when I was walking. I turned it off and discovered that the front end felt high. Don't know if it just needs lubricating. It had not been used for over a year and had been standing up. I had put the incline on 1 as I was walking and was walking 1.5. Any help appreciate.
Try putting it on an incline of 4 or more and speed at 3 or higher before starting to walk which might keep it from overheating. You really need to see if the walking belt is TOO TIGHT or needs silicone, or it could be that the drive motor BEARINGS are failing.
Mines making like a loud metal scraping noise almost like something is stuck underneath the belt the belt near the motor part has like something poking up words at random times its a golds gym tred mil .... What do I do ( im also not verry mechanically enclined ....
Katelyn Martens I have written rusak.monitor treadmill E03. what's so broken ??? Because I already unloading, it turns out his rope broke no. or a nice cord all. Please help
Hi There, Please can you help? My treadmill is making a very strange noise. It sounds a little like something rubbing against a plastic comb. I have checked so many different RUclips videos for solving noise from a treadmill, but none have been relevant. My treadmill is not squeaking or banging or anything that comes up in the vast majority of the videos I have watched, the most similar noise I can find is this video.... ruclips.net/video/r3eKa7KDc1M/видео.html ....this is the closest I can find to the noise I have, but this video does not show how to fix it. My machine is a very old Horizon machine and the noise is only made when it is being stepped on over 2.5mph. The noise comes with every step made. After taking the cover off it, it very much sounds like it is coming from the left of the motor just where it attaches to the belt. We lubricated moving parts cleaned out the dust and bits and spend AGES with our ears close to the motor to figure out where the noise is coming from. It is so loud I can hear it over my earphones when I'm trying to listen to music.
...While interesting and full of information...thank you...I HAVE to comment on the sound quality. Its Bad and makes this video difficult to watch. I humbly suggest that you dub your narration in a place and with equipment that is Better. Really...and I am not putting your fine instructional video down..or insulting it...But...It Is Really Difficult...at least for me..to keep watching and actually understanding What you are saying. ....Please dub over your real time recording with an Understandable, and Pleasant to listen to Voice Over. Thank you again.

Thank you for the video. What if it makes noise at a specific speed then it goes away when speed up.
Same. Mine gets quiet after after awhile of running
Some pretty good information. Thanks.
Pretty auwsom useful ❤
When u get the belt centred thru adjusting , how then do u adjust the tension evenly?? Ugh

What kind of glue do you recommend for adhering the vinyl?
What are the benefits of an air runner?

6:58 what do you say there? I cant understand
Sounds like "Too much tension will also cause the belt end to probably peel upways. That's another indication of too much tension"
What brand is your treadmill?
