This game had just about everything you would expect in a stunning sequel: Advancements in graphics, improved and added sound designs, added courses and a huge number of characters from golfers and caddies! Returning cast from HSG3 like Stacy runs the shop, Tiffany and a few other favorites like Lin, Louis and the almighty T-Bone come into the field with different and more likeable dialogue. Then characters from other games just to add the surprise factor in like Ratchet and Jak to Clank and Dexter as Golfer and Caddie respectively. The music was not only remastered but even the seasonal variants sounded beautiful. I could go on and on about this game forever! FORE! had one thing above all else that made this game the best in the series (since i hear the future games did not live up to the legendary status of FORE!) and that is.. Charisma. Every golfer and caddie had Charisma and personally, I think Greg and Amy are my most favorite caddies of the roster. Greg, a stand-up man of a man who would make an equal to Popeye and Amy, god if I ever got sent to a hospital, I want Amy as my nurse. Personal favorite golfers are T-Bone [obviously lol] since his spins are legit WICKED! and my second would probably be Regis. Charismatic British Bulldog from Britain. HSG Fore! is Legendary on a 10 point scale, I still have this on PS2 somewhere too
i hope in the new hot shots coming out this year(hopefully) for ps4 will be as good as FORE was. definitely would love to see mini golf and a par 3 course again!
I mean, how can you go wrong with a huge cast of 24 CHARACTERS, with a good portion of them returning from Hot Shots Golf 3. Not sure why Jonnie was made into Allan, though.
I have hit 2 hole in one's. 1 was on Course 12 and the other was on the short course (both happened on the back tee) and I did not use any spin. Ironically I had the same caddy and the hole in one happened on the same hole in the video (Course 12)
This is a very late comment, but the best way to beat hard mode Z is to play at Day Dream GC with a character with lots of power, somewhat low spin, and good control. If you don't end up in rough very often, using Z is a good idea, but I'd personally recommend using Zeus with an Infinity ball. If you're a pretty good player, from there it's just doing your best to make consistent birdies in the round.
Al Kills All yeah, eventually i did get hard mode Z. i think though it was just luck... i played HSG3 so i know those courses really well. so i chose the Aloha Beach Resort course (which is my favorite) and i beat him. it was harder for me because my hdtv has input lag on all connections (composite, s-video- component and even HDMI) i wish i could get a better tv.
***** Yeah, I had to put my PS2 back into my brother's room cause my TV made it lag as well. I just started back up playing the game about 3 days ago. I shot -19 with Z at Fujizakura GC just this morning, with a rising ball eagle on 1 and eagles on 3 and 15. Those tougher courses would chew me up right now though. I'm still getting used to the game again.
Al Kills All it's official, your a beast at this game xD i've only made 1 hole in one in this game, and it was on mt. sakura hole 16.... with lin at 168 yds... and that was probably like 3-4 years ago.

This game needs a remaster for current/next gen, with online tournaments added. This was the best HSG game, and every other game after it sucked.

Out of bounds is pretty good but I will agree that world invitational on wards was terrible in comparison to HSG 1-5.
I wish Our Of Bounds had been this good. It's PS2 predecessor has far more golfers, caddies and courses thus making it the best in the series!

left handed players press start or select when selecting the golfer .it's really easy to play but hard to master
2:10 caddie has a way better voice in everybody's gold 4
