Wanna' save your back? Next time, turn off the Ecoflow, put a bath towel in the bottom of freezer compartment, use a hair dryer on "warm" and 10 minutes later, you are done. If the towel is going to drip going out the door of the van, put the wet towel in a bucket on the way out. Ice maker? Put a couple of wash cloths in there to soak up excess water and then wipe clean or put a container under its drain on the side of the Ecoflow and proceed with the routine.
@@007nadineL- I guess maybe carrying a wet towel and couple of wash cloths is not as heavy as lifting and moving the whole refrigerator? I would have emptied all the stuff out it first to make it a bit lighter but extra trips might have been more annoying. 😂

Hi Matthew and family. Hoping everything is ok after all those fires in BC. Matthew...why don't you mount a slide hinge setup on the table? One slide mounts to the back of the table and the other slide mounts to the van and they just slide onto eachother? This way you can remove and store the table, avoiding salt and sand or dirt buildup when traveling. Just a thought. Cheers from my house to yours 🍻
Broke.my heart seeing you sweep up brooklyn off the slide in slow mo ❤your such a great dad, she is so cute, and will have so many great memories of her childhood xx
Haha boys and their toys - loved your giggle at the end with all your lights on. May not seem bright but surely will blind any on coming traffic or highlight animals on the sides of the roads if driving off the main highway at night. 😂😂😂. Love the focused mind of a 4 year old just wanting to kill the bug after you just said not to kill it. 🤣🤣🤣. Glad that you are taking time out of your work goals to play with Brooklyn and giving her good memories growing up with her dad and her grand parents. ❤❤❤❤

Im new here, from Calgary. Love your sense of humour so I clicked that subscribe button. I clicked on your vid in the car and didnt realize that the noise you made when you moved the fridge wasnt from the car at first. I had a moment of concern 😂
I must say for me the extra lights on vehicles give me fits at night with my eyesight. It is why I don't drive at night anymore. I do admit they are cool looking. I am gonna repeat what some others have said - but the joy and laughter you bring your daughter are quite infectious. And it will be a fantastic memory for both of you down the road. Keep on Vannin'
By the time this video was published you have already installed the shelf. But BUTYL tape sealant is a product you need it’s used on rv’s to seal everything and is sticky and once attached doesn’t easily come off
Those lights remind me of ones that some people put on the roof of their vans to light the areas to the sides and behind their vans as a security measure.
Remember the days where it was months to get 1k subscribers? Now it's days! Guessing 100,000 way before March 17, 2026 (months before I go full-time). For the new lights maybe up and out? See along the sides of the road better on those back country wooded dirt roads...just a thought. I just cleaned out my refrigerator the other day...I strongly suggest NOT to leave veggie cans in a fridge-rust drips🤦♀ And my solar panel mounts are 'glued' onto my roof with Sikaflex 221. The stuff is expensive but I did not need to put any more holes in the roof😉
Saw an awesome freezer hack…get a couple of those thin dollar store cutting boards and line your freezer with them! Then when it’s time to defrost, you simply pull them out, knock the ice off of them and reinstall! Thanks for the awesome content….from an early neighbour in Garland Bay Area!
QQQ When traveling what do you do with the alcohol? Just in case you get pulled over. Awesome on Bill getting you a new tv! You should get supervisor Penny in Lucky to meow where stuff goes. Throwing away Smuckers? No way! Shorter bolts. When you said We’re adults and we can do anything we want to do reminded me of the movie “The Ref”. One of My favorite movies! Stay safe, Stay Cool, Eat your green beans!
AAA... I'm not sure where you are, but here in Canada, when it comes to RVs (vans included), they are, when you are travelling, your home(domicile), so you can have alcohol, and cannabis, in your 'home'. Of course, they(liquor or cannabis) should not be anywhere near the driver. (side note on cannabis... the legal limit for possession in public, or in your "car", in other words, on your person, is 1oz/28gm... but, in your home, there is no limit, hence, in an RV/Van, (built for living in), there is no limit, but, as I said, it can not be within reach of the driver). In other words, just store your mood enhancers in a proper place, and you have no issues... assuming you only have 'legal' mood enhancers. lol. If you live in the US, I believe this advice would pass muster, again, as long as what you have is legal in the State you're in... BUT... Do NOT take my word for it.. check your local laws, always!✌🏼🇨🇦
I used a AP product called Sikaflex 252 black to attach my solar panels to my van roof using the Z brackets so I didn't need to use screws, I believe it's used quite often in the RV industry for solar panels on West coast, but anyway my solar panels are not going anywhere😅. Just use 4 self taping screws to hold the table in place while the 252 cures...edit..... I did use bolts and nuts to attach the Z brackets to the solar panels.
Matthew, instead of a cheap latch on your slide outs, put a 2 foot 2 x 4 behind them both that drops into a wood hanger on each slide and one in the middle.
A portable table that attaches to the tire would alleviate having to install the plastic folding table and could be moved to either side of the van as desired
Matthew, cook green beans like we do in the South USA. Simmer them with a hunk of ham or bacon and a chopped onion. Cook until very soft. You will be surprised.
To be honest, the position of the light mounts he is using, are not really meant to be used for driving lights at all. Lighting up the hood is a distraction, and they are almost completely blocked by the hood from REALLY lighting things up in front properly, including the fog lights, which also should be up front and low, to cut under and through the fog properly. (I just don't have the heart to make a comment telling him those light mounts are gimmicks for jeeps.)lol. HAPPY TRAVELS.
