At one point he got a pat on the head because he was probably overdoing the sax but we loved it so he went on and on and hit different pitches I've never ever heard on a saxophone before. The band just had to play along because they could see how happy we were!

Found out they are performing near me, so I thought I would look at their live shows... and holy crap not what I expected. I got to get tickets to see them now. I mean hell, listen to their new live album from 2023, all of my favorite songs actually sounded better performed live, compared to the studio recordings. As a former brass player myself, this gets my nerd rocks off

It's an alto. Most tenors are a bit larger and have a kink at the neck to lower the mouthpiece enough to compensate for its size.
What type of Sax does he play? Alto or Tenor?
