People don't understand how amazing this is. A fromsoft guy would have no clue and think this is basic or boring or that he was fighting an easy boss. They had no idea of the skill this takes.

Do you use ultimate courage? What're your stats?
Nice work btw, I always choke against Ren every time I tried to do a no damage run.
No, I do not use ult courage because it does not benefit me from how im playing. What I have instead is Ult Skill and Ult Strength (along with Path of the Gods) so my stat are 150 skill and 150 strength (rest are balanced stat).
Ren is def hard to deal with. hes one of the fastest human bosses!

Being in A agility helps moving around faster, especially with dodging. Also, Evasion cancel take a good part at dashing quickly.

Does Ren always immediately block after a second hit of a combo? Every time you did two quick attacks in mid stance, he would begin blocking. I never noticed this before.
It is quite random honestly. Sometimes, he and a few endbosses will start blocking on either 2nd or 3rd hit to disrupt the flow (since we usually based on that with nioh 1) so that prob how team ninja changed its AI pattern. Although, there are some attack that will force them to block on 2nd hit with a good stagger effect like high stance attack or moonlit snow.

I can't believe tail strike isn't useless.
it is a good skill to use against human for ki break.
@@LasttoLoad I know it's good for ki, but I've only ever got it somewhat reliably against yokai. It's too slow and too short to be consistent so might as well just use crashing waves. That's why I was pleasantly surprised to see it well used here.
