    Dude. I don't know if you meant this or not, but at 22:07 you knocked the test warrior down and said "get up", but then *literally* picked him up with retrograde flow. It was like an old Kung Fu movie when someone is finally being schooled by the master they have disrespected, and when they fall, the master just kicks them back to their feet only to knock them back down. Well timed, mate. Whether intentional or not! 👊😁

Players like you and PWAR and so good at showcasing the technical side that genuinely takes people from casual samurai and ninjas to true adepts.

    Gaming communities are blessed to have high level players like yourself that share all of their knowledge with us casuals, no matter what game it is. It truly makes a difference and raises the skill level of the casual player base over time. I just wanted you to know that and also express my gratitude. Thank you so much.

      good question. it helps you enable pressure plays with the odachi. the weapon is deadly against blocking opponents and stance switching to continue pressure is amazing in that regard. if you pause to ki pulse, then you can miss out on opportunities like that. in addition, you can temper ki bonuses on your weapons to take effect when you pull off sunset breeze or waking winds.

    • @SealedSecret
      @SealedSecret Год назад

      I don't have much on timing since it's ultimately something you figure out on your own. However, one quirk about mostly Timely Guard Parries like Bolting Boar is that you cannot input any movement commands when you're using the parry. Meaning, if you're still holding forward on your left stick (for example) when attempting to use Bolting Boar, the parry will fail 100% of the time. You have to be standing still at the moment you parry.

    19:27 Was hoping you added this XD ii-ne[Nice]
    21:09 Oh sorry, I already figured that out. o^o But I feel like we're two of the only few who studied these weapons the deepest.
    Okay, so I watched to the end and came to a conclusion that I SHOULDN'T add more pointers on the Nodachi nor the other weapons(This is the first Adept Guide I checked out), but have you tried the Retrogade Flow into Ascension(Lifting enemy in mid-air) then a quick retreat into Tsubame Gaeshi? If timed and paced correctly, all three strikes _will_ land.
    I'd love to see the veteran guide (or whatever stage is the last) for the Odachi and maybe point out *_if_* there's anything that's missing, would that be okay?

    • @PooferLlama

      I wasn't gonna go thru every Retrograde Flow juggle. That's something that players can discover for fun. Kagerasimaru and rbFrosty have personally showcased weapon switch tech involving it as well (which I forgot to link).

Youre capabilities are greatly enhanced by top tier effects that can give a false perception of what the person watching this video would be able to do. Most people watxhing this video is still probably on dream of samurai, thus dont have the gear to be capable of what youre doing to the same effectiveness. These videos should be done with beginner gear
