It's always been like that, I was a teenager in the 90's, there was a lot of Rock, of course, but not that much Metalheads...and a lot of shit !!! And 30 years later it's the same and Metal is still alive ! 🤘 But, you have to find yourself the bands you like ! Don't give a fuck about what is in the medias ! 😎 the Metal festivals are always complete wherever you live ! It speaks for itself ! In France, Hellfest ! Already sold out 9 months before the event, as soon as the places are availble, without even knowing who's going to play ! I don't know how it works in the States, but in Europe, Vended is gonna be big and tons of other bands ! Greetings from France friends ! 🤘🇫🇷🤘
To be fair, they don't stick out from the crowd. They're good don't get me wrong, but good metal band's don't break out. There are good metal band's at every local scene, you need to be more than just good to break out. You need to sound different to what we've all heard a thousand time's.
It's not just the voice that nails it but the whole sound of the band "Overall" .

Been needing something new just like this. Nice and aggressive. Not overly complicated math metal. Slightly old school hard-core with a touch of modern. Takes me back to late 90's early 2000's. I'M AL IN!

I like Corey's better because I'm a 90s kid, kiddo still has great vocals but to me it sounds too much like slipknot vocals

He sounds similar to his dad on the Iowa album, raw, fuelled with hate and a beast. Iowa was my favourite album from Slipknot too, so I'm stoked on this song. I hope they keep on this path because this is fucking great!

Nah, dude... he's nowhere near as good as his dad was on S/T or Iowa. But, it's his first project. Corey sounded TERRIBLE when he very first joined SK before the S/T album. His son will definitely get better if he keeps at it, so I'm not knocking him.
Sh!t is straight badass. Not only should your folks be proud, but give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back for not riding the coat tails of your parents. Using their art only as inspiration and creating your own original style and art. Well done lads. I'm so hyped to see what the future holds for Vended.

You definitely can´t deny that he is Corey's son. Not just the sound of his voice, even the way he inhales and pronounces/growls some words/syllables reminds me of his fathers voice. I like that and kinda find it cute lol. I keep an eye and ear on them 🤘

I know I commet on this video two weeks ago, but I saw them live for the second time last night, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I'm telling you right now, they are co headlining ready. They put on a great show, vended will go far in the industry, they are right where they need to be, they just need an album out. Who knows, it might go platnom, if you haven't seen vended yet, I would recommend you guys go see them live, they are pretty damn good 🤘🏾!

Holy crap! Simple in your face metal. Solid riffs, in your face. This is the good shit we need. And to see how hard Vended keep working. Saw them live at Blue Ridge Rock Fest and it keeps getting better. This is a solid band to get behind folks! We will be talking about them for a while I think.
Found this band because my mother bought slipknot tickets in Camden New jersey, got orbit culture, knocked loose, and vended. I was only familiar with slipknot so I wanted to try the other bands, to atleast make it more enjoyable by knowing all the bands I will see, OMG BRO I DIDNT KNOW COREY HAD A SON THAT HAD A BAND. Reminds me of Phil and Pantera if i'm gonna be honest here. I'll say that thrash/hardcore vibe where you throw everything you got into the music and performance. Watching the video and watching the groove with the music and having a "spiritual experience" that increases the performance.

@@vapid9943 Better screaming? Maybe compared to his dad NOW, but it's nowhere near as good as S/T or Iowa Corey. He will get there if he keeps it up. I'm not dogging on him. Corey sounded terrible in his demo recordings with SK and in the live shows he did with Anders before that. He improved quickly and his son will too. In fact, I'd say he is way better now than his dad was when he first started vocals, so he's on a great track.

When the sons of Slipknot sound more like the Slipknot we want!!! Massive respect to Vended for bringing it. We at Latefox are mad fans now. Perhaps Slipknot is more of an energy…. a way to play. This is amazing guys. A lot of new bands are influenced by Slipknot, and rightfully so. The fact that this band is pulling their weight and producing some wicked stuff. All the respect. So awesome.
