Nice work John and your team . I sure hope people really see how much work you guys do and they appreciate you .
just a note, you can also get vitamin D from button mushrooms.
My Dad never really comments on RUclips videos but he had cancer and got off chemo 2 weeks ago and I introduced him to your channel cause he wanted a hobby and he absolutely loves your channel and hes going to attempt some of your projects
Congrats James dad with getting off Chemo! Welcome to the tribe !
That glue tip, using the shop-vac, is absolutely awesome.
Wrap a cheese cloth over the shop vac hose to keep glue and epoxy out of the hose and vacuum. Pro tips
I feel like a moron for not thinking of the shopvac tip!
My dad used to restore antiques. When he had a severely cupped board he would wet the convex side and lay it in the sun wet side up, for maybe an hour. Bingo! board would flatten right out. Longest board I remember him flattening was the top of a 10’ harvest table in the ‘60s. Still flat today.
this is some seriously gold level pro tips! thanks a bunch man.
I was going to comment the same thing. It works every time.
@@cholder9112 that Phil's dad did this cool wood working trick, or that you do this trick yourself!!!???😂😂😂
@@ericwilliams7374 we both use it
Phil, that’s an awesome tip. I recommended something similar (verbally) while watching this, but I didn’t think to lay it in the sun after wetting.
I loved the couples retreat reference!!! Encouragement BOOM!!
Yes, ya hit a home run on this reception desk project! Applause for ending crude cursing. You're an intelligent professional guy with genuine strength in use of a FAR BETTER than any average vocabulary. Thanks, John! Keep up the good work!!
Literally bought a 23 gauge brad nailer today and was curious if you were using 23, so there's the question you already answered for me 😂. Love the channel, much more of a show than a woodworking channel
Thanks Kenny! Thats the goal!
hahaha i just spit my coffee out when you censored john at 15:50
the finished product looks awesome... good work boys
No way a John Malecki epoxy project that dosent go terribly wrong! 2020 what a year.
Hey come on now. We had 1 bad go and now I’m that guy huh?!?
I'm only here because i like your pallet buys. You are hilarious
I absolutely love the fact that you make a mistake in every video. You don't hide it, you let everyone see it, as if to say yeah we are tradesmen and yeah we make mistakes and you overcome them 🙌.
-"Here's a little tip to fix a crack..."
Me: (eye roll) Yeah, yeah, 🙄 glue and sawdust, we know.
-Uses a shop vac to draw down the glue
Me: 😲😶 Okay, that was smart.
15:06 John's classic look of temporary defeat, as seen in all his videos.
Prob 90% , and it’s never defeat. It’s adversity
Solid accurate and I agree that the five cut method is not needed for woodworking accuracy. If the fence is square to the blade then surely that's square lol happy woodworking Dirk 😊
Bourbon Moth Woodworking recommended mixing finish with sawdust instead of glue because glue doesn't work as good to apply finish over.
In the same video he put glue in his mouth.
That design was awesome. It really appeals to me because I am a beekeeper. The honeycomb and live edge just go together perfectly.
That would make a beautiful dining table with a free style perhaps either a bullet or pennies filled covered with clear epoxy?
Your commentary is next level, haha! "But John, I don't like the cold brew coffee... You think I like the taste of beer the first time I drank it?!" Lol 😂
hahaha yes !
You Absolutely hit a home run!!!
I love so much that you share all the screw ups and problem solving with us. If you ever come down to Morgantown and need a helper for anything, I'm available! 😋
"I take creative control the way I eat candy, without permission and inappropriately." - Probably John Malecki
My favorite thing about this channel is the honsty and real-world truth behind creating. You can't win or lose unless you try, and failure is only an education. I really love how how if a video is 20 minutes long the first 15 are the process and story behind it, and the last five are "hey, we messed up, let's do it again" hahaha. Great content as usual
Home-run achieved. Nice work.
Home Run! For sure.
Grand slam home run, fella. Love your work!
That end where the desk is all built, it has some nice chatoyancy.
Not that I Get a vote, but I like the big projects with epoxy pours. Great channel
John, Excellent job overcoming the bowed live edge piece. I feel the dominos will definitely hold the top flat. You and your team are really coming into your own. Keep up the great work. Stay squirrelly.
Homerun!!!
👍🤙👏👏👊
Wow wow wow
You guys knocked it out of the park!!
Sick build, dude. Great troubleshooting. Casey should really start working out though...😳
Is there a meme I’m missing?
This is literally the coolest desk I’ve ever seen. Combing resin, slabs and hexagons 🔥🔥🔥
Yes boys, touch'em all, definite Home Run. Sam's vacuum suggestion also works on crack sweat.
Black hexagons are a sick detail !!!!!
That countertop was awesome!
Thanks for the glue/shop vac tip, Sam!!
You hit a f-ing homerun!
Brilliant idea with the glue and shop vac!!!
That table is 🌋🌋🌋...
That shop-vac glue tip is worth the price of admission alone!
You guys hit a homerun!
I absolutely love the wrap around hexagons, the rest looks cool for the intended customer but the hexagons I love!!!!
Your channel is seriously entertaining man, and you also share a ton of awesome knowledge. I think it’s also awesome how you guys don’t hide mistakes and show how you collectively figure stuff out. Rapidly becoming one of my favorite channels.
Shop vac tip is gold!
Dang that vacuum idea is 🔥🔥
A home run for sure!
My guys reaction was not enough for me, this is an incredible build!!
This one was incredible! I just hope that customers who see this when they walk in are able to appreciate the amount of work and effort went into it. Amazing.🔥🔥🔥
Home run for sure!
"I was under the influence of multiple things." Funniest thing I have heard all nite.
Dammmn this desk was truly epic
Home run fellas!
You have the BEST toys.
This turned out gorgeous! Damn that wood really revealed itself with the finish, I'm in awe!
Home run boys 👌
Yinz guys scored a big ole touch down on this one. Nice work. Love the idea of CNCing the resin slab then pouring another color in. Sexy.
Homerun!!!!!!! nice job
SUPER!
Sweet design!!
Don't shy away from the cnc. A lot of wood workers say it's cheating, but they just haven experienced the possibility’s to do creative things with them. I use the hell out of mine, from jointery to just simple flattening the possibilities are endless. Once you get the feeds and speeds down for your machine hold downs become second nature.
Out of the park!
I think it would look awesome with LEDs under the live edge part
You guys banged that one out of the park!
Yinz guy’s make building so enjoyable
Using the shop vac on the glue was 👌👌👌👍👍👍👏👏👏
This deck is GORGEOUS 🤑 the green epoxy with the beautiful wood and the hexagons is so well design together ! Nice job
Definitely a home run ! Perseverance pays off !
Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn the final product is awesomeeeeeeeeeee
You sir, are an artist!
OK 🆗 I'll watch this video now. Its been shoved in my face even tho I'm subscribed now........ can't believe I didn't watch it sooner
Hell ya home run!!!
Home Run Triple!
Home run!
love seeing Sam more in videos :)
You punched that in the face. Looks very good!
Looks awesome
That glue trip with the vacuum genius!
This design is absolutely beautiful!!!
John is the type of friend everyone should have!
I would love to have them design a table for me if i wasnt in South Africa haha.
Keep the videos coming. Look forward to more exciting things!
The tools on the wall are sickeningly satisfying 👌

Nice one boys
When I saw all the plywood sitting on the table I said “🤩🤩” the price has skyrocketed where I live
All these videos of yours the creativity and fun make me want to switch jobs 😅
That glue tip, about sucking it down with the vacuum, holyshit I learn something new. My life is now complete
Yinz are killing it!
Great work fellas, if it ain't squirrel-y 🐿️ it ain't no good.
Love the shop vac tip. Maybe put a rag over the nozzle of the vacuum so glue doesn't go down the pipe?
That shop vac glue tip is amazing. Thank you for sharing how to do this. I never would have thought about using my shop vac for that.
Yes u hit a home run very creative John 👌🌹❤️😃
Hi John and Sam, You definitely slammed it for a homer. Very nice work.
Too cool and wonderful. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!🎉😊
Pretty sweat looking receptionists desk if that's the proper name for it. lol. on a side note as a guy born, raised and still living in Steeltown I gotta say I love seeing you guys rocking Pittsburgh shirts, especially the Steelers.
This is a pretty good show of just how many pivots are involved in advanced projects. Still turned out awesome!
Awesome build, and very cool to see quality work "N@" coming from a yinzer! Great job👍🏻
That turned our really awesome! Great work!
That came out Beautiful
Dude! The shop vac glue trick. Amazing! Definitely do more work like this!
Self care 👍, nice job man. Also great build
That turned out awesome
