What's up I'm RedFalcon and right now I'm playing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. I might play minigames against the Master CPUs, I might play boards against characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi and more?! Is that all of them? We don't know yet! What we do know as that we can play Mario Party Superstars online on boards like Yoshi's Tropical Island, Peach's Birthday Cake, Space Land, Horror Land, and more! A really interesting design choice in MP9 is how each board's bosses each test a different "skill."
Toad Road: Hand-eye coordination in a 2D space.
Bob-Omb Factory: Mindgames with other players.
Boo's Horror Castle: Puzzle game skills.
Blooper Beach: Aiming & depth perception.
Magma Mine: Reaction time.
Bowser Station: Luck (unfortunately).

I only ever noticed the Bob-Omb Factory being mindgame based
I actually never noticed that and I played the game for years
Mario Party 9 minigames are so goood. I recommend playing Garden Battle instead of the boards
All of the mini games and mini game modes are incredible

Not even joking when I first got the game I spent 2 hours with GOOMBA bowling
It’s been quite a while since I played MP9 but the bosses were definitely one of the most memorable things and a really cool addition to the minigame types

They weren't introduced in 9, but yeah.
Its been a while for me. Only thing i do is play to get this stupid challenge, super smash bros brawl. Challenges are beat boss battles on intense(impossible) and very hard(i got 9 with fox). But i may go back for the minigames despite this ruining the mario party franchise, oh wait, 10 did that with less inspired boards, and what sounded liked a good idea was not with overpowered bowser mode. Thank god the switch fixed mario golf,party,tennis.

I’m obsessed with the jump rope mini game and the rock climbing one for some reason I just couldn’t stop playing it- I love it I’m so angry that my little brother broke my wii >:(
I won't lie, I love the mind games of the Whomp and Bob-Omb minigames.

Now that you have tried out Mario Party 9, it'd be great to see these similar things in other games too! Mario Party 8 for example has many modes that would be great to see!
The extra modes in MP8 were so much fun
I was replaying Mario Party 10 lately and the regular minigames are all really good - even better than I remembered 9's being. There's a lot of classic platforming - some of them feel more like Super Mario 3D World levels than Mario Party minigames. Good art direction, too.

Really happy to see those MP9 videos. I just love this game so much despite the hate it gets by the MP community, it's honestly one of my favorites Mario Party games. I really miss those bosses minigames they are so much fun.
While we're on the topic of underrated aspects of Mario Party 9, the soundtrack is unironically one of my favorites on the Wii. While not all of the tunes are the greatest (The non-tower-boss themes especially), there's still a lot of themes I really liked from this game, such as both of the variations of the main midboss theme, the final wave of the Bowser Jr fight theme, all of the main minigame themes, the Toad Road, Bob-omb Factory, and Magma Mine themes, the bowser encounter theme, and the you got a minigame theme are all amazing.
If you want to find the final part to Bowser Jr, it’s called “Bowser Jr. Is Mad!”
The commitment to this video is amazing, they had to beat the solo mode atleast once, and get the master difficulty unlocked, AND unlock the boss rush, now THAT is commitment, thank you! :D

I agree. Mario Party Superstars doesn't have any Boss Fight minigames, it really needs some of those. Also, it would be awesome if the Boards from Mario Party 9 make a return since they are the best Boards in my opinion :)

The king boo boss mini game from MP9 is hands down the best Mario party mini game ever. It is very chaotic and SO MUCH FUN!

Mario Party 9 is a good spin off Mario Party and you can’t change my mind. Sure the new concept is weird and I can understand if you don’t like it, but bro, unlike Mario Party 10 it actually knows what it’s doing with the gimmick. And of course the mini games are great, bosses especially.

Mario Party 9 mini games are my freaking childhood
At 10:00 The game is to figure out which mine cart goes to which path. The mine carts always turn at every single possible turn.
That means there is one mine cart per route.
The watching is to essentially backtrack to see where the mine cart should start before reaching the destination.
When he isn’t mad and there are no gold cannons, I would just pick the cart that would go to Chain Chomp if there were no turns
(Video Idea) You should try Mario Party 8 and you could do a lose all mini game or win all mini games challenge. You could also do something in the Mario Party mode.

Nintendo just didn't gave enough love to mp 8 9 and 10, also almost no minigames from these mp's in superstars
In all my years of playing mp9 I never unlocked boss rush and never found out about story mode
MP10 also has bosses! You should check those out, too!
