I loved that part about feeling as a family while working on sets. It's the same for all creative collective projects in life. I appreciate it a lot, being with people and work together, put all our talents and expertise for a common goal, a greater good. And I also find it sad because it always ends. And mostly it's because this "familyness" takes place on a work for money basis. So when the job's done, crew or actors, we need to move on to the next contract. Would it be possible to all live in the same village or whereabouts and meet and create for dozens of years (with others projects involving people from other places too ofc) ?
It was hard for me to believe that John would ignore Gilina and purse Aeryn. Aeryn has a lot going for her, but I can't imagine being happy with such a tough girl. John even refused to kiss Gilina just before she died. Come on now! She sacrificed herself to save him and all she wants is a kiss, and he says no.
She’s a bit vain but she’s a magnificent woman, smart, brilliant and beautiful, and she uses the word “mollycoddled.” I always wondered why Aeryn would be attracted to John, who is basically an immature, horny bro
Because his crazyness is efficient. Because he is surprising, with him future can't be guessed. Also because he's funny and romantic. I think they're so different, he's an absolute and friendly stranger, yet physically so similar. But yes, he's also quite immature / egocentrical.
