Add a little garlic to the Ceviche. It absorbs into the firm fish and tastes excellent. I also add a couple seeded jalapenos or Serranos to spice it up. Great video!
You should try to eat the grunts whole, so scale and gut them. You will get a lot more meat off of them. That’s how most people down in the Bahamas where I live eat them whole
Over here on the Gulf side of the state, we catch a lot of grunts, especially on the shorter party boat trips. Great for fish fingers, and as you did, ceviche.
All the fish that u shown in this video are really very expensive in my country PHILIPPINES. And to top them all very very deliciois too. Lucky to live in that place
Have go pro ready for when a fish gets stuck. Line from boat to go pro. Swivel on go pro to slide down line with fish on it. May need weight on go pro to help slide down line. Then u should be able to see what rocked u and on what structure.
Have all the tarpon migrated through the keys and up the coast at the time of this trip? If not, I would be soaking some pinfish at night for them. I saw a video of Roland Martin doing that with a guide at night and it was fish on, time after time. Heavy tackle, pulling them out of the bridge, my kind of fishing. No sissy stuff. Big silver kings, testing your skill with super power.
When ever you make it down next time give me a holla I live in big Copit mile maker 10 I got some cool spots from key west to big pine and a nice boat to get us around I will have some video up soon but I would love to take you out and show you around with some who is born and raised here
so loving this video, going to that exact location this next week and I was wondering where you went to lobster dive. Your friend said there are a lot of sharks under the bridge and that scares me. Please send me GPs if you have it please. My kids just got their Lobster License and are soooo excited.
hey man big fan, im from the north east and i catch a lot of porgy up here. we actually call them scup but ive never seen someone fillet them! could you do a video on that?
I definitely have one of those card wallets! Love your videos bro and the cheffing even more! Can't seem to find many with pasta in it anymore. My wife loves pasta. I take fishing tips and cooking tips from you too 😂😂
Oh and it's so damn good. Great video Vic and I see yall had a hell of a time. Tell your buddy thanks for his service. Did you say you were in the navy as well. If so thank you as well.
Hey Victor great video man love your stuff you ever think about cutting the fins of the pinfish I heard that when you do that or at least when I tried it also that it's the fish will go after it more because the pins won't pinch their mouths and they were more wounded in the water keep up
Have u ever had peruvian ceviche?? They don't add tomatoes because makes it sweet had ceviche from all over and the Peruvian by far the best! (Not dissing any other countries) Try it if you haven't. Saludos
Big thank you to the folks over at The Ridge. Check out their badass wallets and save 10% use my code “landshark” www.ridgewallet.com/landshark
Landshark Outdoors Awesome this place congratulations fisherman!
Have a blessed week and lots of Fish.
Hug.👍🎣🐟
I want to fish with you
I'm surprised at the gear you don't use. I'd think a metallic spoon would be a natural.
14:51 the pelican is being very nosy about the FSH!!🤣🤣🐟🐟🐠🐡🐡
Gotta pay my respects to the drone shots because of how much of a pain it is to land it on a boat lol
Especially offshore!
Really? i was thinking about to get a dron to shoot from my key west 15' boat.....
Landshark Outdoors Yeah man... even better when u forget to calibrate it😂
Unless your drone has a "Home" button then it come back to remote. Easy peasey. But it's gotta be a newer model.
At 12:34 look at a big fish jumping out of the water over your left shoulder while your talking to the camera.. 😝😝😝
I've had a RIDGEWALLET for about 2 years. They are the best for safety and low picket profile. Thanks for sharing.
I usually catch the 16”-20”+ grunts out on the Gulf Stream.. Along with massive 17”+ Porgy. I agree 100% Grunt are good table fare!
3:10 you're sinkingggggg
Yeah what was that about? Too much weight in the corner putting deck drain holes under water. Or did someone forget the drain plugs?
Victor what a great video again I like how you explain everything in your videos. What a beautiful trip for you guys.
Thank you Victoria!
Add a little garlic to the Ceviche. It absorbs into the firm fish and tastes excellent. I also add a couple seeded jalapenos or Serranos to spice it up. Great video!
Man go back and look at the fish jump over your left shoulder as your talking about the diving...very cool !
Thank you for your service
You should try to eat the grunts whole, so scale and gut them. You will get a lot more meat off of them. That’s how most people down in the Bahamas where I live eat them whole

Over here on the Gulf side of the state, we catch a lot of grunts, especially on the shorter party boat trips. Great for fish fingers, and as you did, ceviche.

Ok, that looks delicious!! Great to whip out out on the water, as long as you're prepared AND you catch something lol
I love your catch and cook videos. Bad part about it is it makes me hungry and where I'm from we can't get fresh salt water fish. Thanks for the video
Do a fresh water catch clean and cook with the skin left on its really good that way
