    Had the same problem at the same spot on my W123. The seal didn’t fix it, though. There was still water ingress into the trunk. Then I discovered that the lens was broken right at the top. So I got myself a new lens and now it is as tight as it gets!

    I had this problem on my Honda Accord. Water was mysteriously collecting in the spare tire well after a heavy rain. I pulled one of the inner tail light bulbs and found the housing full of water. I wound up getting a used pair of inner tail light housings from another car and it fixed the problem.

    Mine somehow leaks in from the back windows seal. The frame is somehow the exact same size as the windows glass itself or something, and the seal makes it sit slightly off. Two glass places couldn't get it to sit right...what do?
