@@Wvethas a parapro sub, THANK. YOU. Even the ancient Greeks were saying "don't force the youth into your ways, for they were built for a time different than yours."
Alrighty guys, here’s a spicy hot take that’ll get me burned at the stake like the witches in Salem: gen alpha humor isn’t bad. I know, I know, “Sharpen your pitchforks, clutch your pearls, storm the capital! This guy is officially bonkers!!!” But I will die on this hill, and I will die fighting tooth and nail. Gen alpha humor is comparable to what we gen z had growing up. G-mod/SFM animations: TF2 and FNAF for us, Skibidi Toilet for them. Crappy horror games coming out the wazoo to profit off of more popular franchises: Hello Neighbor and the unquantifiable number of FNAF clones for us, Garten of Ban Ban and Poppy Playtime for them. My point here is: we were just as bad. People think that alpha’s humor is trash and the videos they watch are just content farms, but they never reflect on their childhoods. Give me a show of hands, who remembers the sheer volume of slang we had such as “yeet” or “deez nuts.” Just as we had those words, they have “gyatt” and “rizz.” They have loud RUclips Shorts, we had MLG pro edits. Now we get to the juicy stuff, who remembers ElsaGate? You may think that RUclips Kids is abhorrent and gen z is lucky for never have experienced that, but when we were kids, we had worse videos. Videos of Spider-Man and Elsa poking each other with needles and other junk like that (I’m not condoning this content, this is a serious problem we need fixed), p**ophiles stalked RUclips comments sections. To wrap this all into a neat bow, I don’t think we should be too hard on gen alpha because most of us gen z watched the same exact garbage. And to be honest, I find myself using the slang as cheap, stupid jokes just as they do.
Going to have to disagree. The MLG meme was hardly pervasive as RUclips shorts. I can agree with you for the later stuff like dabbing or Howard the alien or when fortnite came out, but it's not the same for the earlier internet stuff. The problem is not that Alpha humor is bad. It's actually really goofy. It's that, as a terminally online gen z, I can still make this video out and know what kind of brain rot they've been into to know it. MLG wasn't designed to sap out all our attention. Nyan cat wasn't something I turned to for a brief escape from the world that would leave me feeling worse after. Old youtube (pre-2010/12) was a different animal. Google wasn't evil. Partying and smoking with the wrong crowd was evil. Elsagate wasn't around because Frozen wasn't released yet. Sauron's eye hadn't yet found the internet because people didn't think you could make money off youtube. Pewdiepie was new. Maybe I'm just talking as a old gen z, but there was a major shit in the degrading nature of the memes after 2013-2016. Before it was about food and lolrandom. After it was about being as degrading as plolrandom. Don't get me wrong gen alpha is lolrandom, but te Chad and Stacy stuff comes from 4chan incel speak. Gyatt and Rizz come from Twitch parasocial thottery and simpery using daddy's credit card. If gen z humor was degrading they at least tried to keep the appearance of being healthy. I just know the alpha kid learned the meme with bloodshot eyes fanum taxed to the screen in such a way it's clearly exploitative to the kid's attention span to get anything else done. I can have a really hard time getting things done and because of these short form videos and have to watch myself as an adult. Seeing that kids are doing it too since they know the jargon makes me want to cry. It's not all that different from drugs with how dehumanized it all is. And not, the same cant be said fo3 gen z stuff. It might have been detached from realityn but it was human run
As a 40 yo man... What did we do wrong here? What can we do to help you? I don't have any kids of my own but I feel like this is my moment to step up and see what I can do

I love that unlike a lot of these, you actually took the time to voice over it. Great job!
No one’s really talking about the A tier voice acting on this! After listening to it enough I forgot it wasn’t their real voices !
Unironically Gen Z humor with the constant fart sounds is funnier than Gen Alpha humor
Maybe because Gen Z humour is ironic
Irony makes the difference
@@backbreakererim pretty sure gen alpha is itonic too, try watching again with irony in mind, 1000× funnier
@@lunarlady03 I don't see it wdym like there's some irony ig such as the dude who made Skibidi toilet obviously knows how stupid that is
@@lunarlady03I loved this video actually, since i take all humour with irony. I am still mad that Gen alpha "ruins" popular stuff, even though as if every generation didnt do it to every popular thing. Gen Z ruined minecraft and fortnite, and we are blaming gen alpha for ruining pizza tower and Digital Circus. I have no idea why it keeps happening, bu it makes for good brain rot
I can’t tell if these Gen Alpha memes are made for the online community at large or tailored to Gen Alpha and I just happened to stumble into them.
Just the whole thing

The funniest part is that this IS gen z humor. Gen alpha are mostly young children still. Also funny how gen z thinks older people weren't putting up with their unfunny prepubescent/young teen humor for years. History repeats itself as always 😏
@@Abba-dabba-dooYeah I just see this as the new form of how my gen acted when we were 12, so I just smile and go "Oh the youth".
But I also like, don't hate the youth, so.
@@fearedjamesI love trying to understand their humour. Even if it doesn't make me laugh, which is most of the time, being able to understand it's compelling to them helps me get on their wave-length. And like the young kids of all generations, every now and then they say something really smart that just cuts through all the BS. I tutor a gen-alpha girl and sometimes it's difficult to keep up, but she likes me and she's starting to internalize my lessons so I must be doing something right. I try to get used to her inner world instead of forcing her to follow arbitrary rules. They just need a different approach. But I digress.
It might have been detached from realityn but it was human run
by the screen
