And like the young kids of all generations, every now and then they say something really smart that just cuts through all the BS. I tutor a gen-alpha girl and sometimes it's difficult to keep up, but she likes me and she's starting to internalize my lessons so I must be doing something right. I try to get used to her inner world instead of forcing her to follow arbitrary rules. They just need a different approach. But I digress.

@@fearedjamesI love trying to understand their humour. Even if it doesn't make me laugh, which is most of the time, being able to understand it's compelling to them helps me get on their wave-length. And like the young kids of all generations, every now and then they say something really smart that just cuts through all the BS. I tutor a gen-alpha girl and sometimes it's difficult to keep up, but she likes me and she's starting to internalize my lessons so I must be doing something right. I try to get used to her inner world instead of forcing her to follow arbitrary rules. They just need a different approach. But I digress.
