Hi, what would be the problem if the laptop doesn't turn on. But the red LED lights up every time i connect the charger. i visually checked the board but no component is damaged.

Hi, i found one mosfet seem to be the cause of the problem, my problem now is the replacement of the component.. would it be okay if i replace it with the one that i remove from the other board with different number.. can find exact same number of the mosfet.
Hi, you can replace the mosfet with one with closest values up. For example, N-Channel, rated at the same voltage and amps, or a little bit more, you can look for the schematics in kithuatphangcung dot com on the Download Schematics section and see the model of the mosfet, maybe it show the replace or equivalent.

What is the first and second components you checked
Nice, keep up good work. What do you think - was it i/o-chip or southbridge or nortbridge with bad solder joint?
I just ment, that when you reflow those 2 chips, that at least one of them has apparently broken solder joint. :)
