Exciting video. That's a lot of work, it'll keep you young! Perfect table fare sized fish. That ocean and background is beautiful, your are blessed having your passion. Thanks for sharing.
Great video!I have a question for you about your boat. When water/blood etc gets into the cockpit how does it drain into the sump where the bildge pump is?Does it seep under the bait tank or is there a hole somewhere to let water into the sump/bildge area?I see on the boats without the bait tank the sump has a little grate over it but yours is covered by the tank.I'm seriously looking at a Montauk 150.Looks like a great boat for solo fishing.
There are about 3/4 inch drain channels on each side of the baitwell. They work fine for water. blood clumps of blood and small guts etc... but anything larger does get stuck there so I just grab whatever is there like gills and larger guts and throw it overboard.
Good catch
Wahoo! Nice catch!
Mahalo!

Excellent Catch on a excellent day, Always looking forward you to your next video.
Nice job, good eater size on the marlin and you definitely earned it solo, with only 2 hands ;)
Mahalo, yes the marlin was ono (delicious in Hawaiian) we did a beer batter deep fry recipe and ate lots of it raw as well.
Looks like a great day on the water!
Caught 13 ono's for May and now ahi...good going Po
Wow, awesome, good luck on da Ahis!
nice catch , stay safe, I get nervous watching , I would tie off with a safety rope or stop boat when hook up, good fishing
Mahalo Blake for your comment and concern🙂, I thought of safety rope but worried that it may drag me and drown me. Will think about it. Mahalo
Good going 👍
Mahalo
Target species...✅✅✅Good going

Good going
Good going!
It was great meeting you! 5/28 was at the wash rack next to Peter Abiva. Hope to see more of your videos on your new boat!
👏👏👏🤙
Sporty 130lb test for a 50lb fish maybe. Just winch it to the boat.
Yeah... sometimes they 400lb and sometimes they 45lb as in this case but you never know. Mahalo for your comment.

Howzit Slayaz_89, I dunno why your comment was so far down, but finally found it, was good meeting you guys too and congrats on the latest ahi catch!
Man that must have been exhausting. What year is your Montauk?
You have more money in reels then then the boat. Makes no sense
Lol, looks that way but the Whalers are very expensive here in Hawaii. Mahalo for your comment.
