Rupert! Hilarious. Was scribbling recommendations in my Italy guidebook. Talked me into Switzerland. He would be awesome in The Grand Budapest Hotel if they do a sequel or prequel.
*New Subscriber* That was great. Rupert has a fine way of painting a picture with words. My budget wouldn't stretch to many of the places to stay that were mentioned, but I still very much enjoyed this episode. If only business travel was still invested in ( I've been lucky to stay in some very nice places, but thankfully, not on my dime ).
I’m laughing about what you said that Switzerland and the trains😂😂…. I know it’s a clichė but it’s just heaven when you know there is not going to be a delay etc and they are always so calm!😊😊
Loved this. Even though I was much lower down the food chain in the 60/70s Rupert is so right every town then had a unique identity and smell. Now the only things left are their wonderful buildings.
Not too grand, too pretentious. In the good old days, quality was expressed in the details and service. Nowadays, it's all smoke and mirrors and max BS.
Oh lovely....nothing like listening to a couple of quintessentially old colonialists talk about all the colonies they've visited, simply spendid darling, splendid.
Гениальный артист! Удачи💥💞
I’m dying with his comment about the plates looking like potties !!!😂😂😂😂

Love love love Rupert 💕 wish he was clean shaven though 😅
Yes and looked the same as in the movie Another Country
When it comes to food I like fish and chips in London, salmon soup and beef meatballs and mash potato in Helsinki.
you're not showing the photo he chose?
I agree: L’ hotel is truly claustrophobic and such a sad place. Poor Oscar.

Hmmm …kiljoy ... Russia a colony? Italy a colony? France a colony? Switzerland colony? Get a grip.
A little young to be colonialists don’t you think? Wind your neck in love
👏👏👏👏👏
He was surprisingly humourless and not interested in Tanya's great stories :( didn't enjoy this one.
