Y'no what's amazing, Pulp are touring, Blur are touring, Noel is touring, Liam is being Liam, Suede are touring... in 2023. It's amazing all these bands are still going strong. Long live Britpop!!
He's been touring pretty consistently with JARV IS etc and has been doing various other bits, so his voice is probably in good shape at the moment. They sound fantastic overall
By chance I went to Bridlington yesterday , saw all the artics parked up , tons of gear ready to be loaded in. This was around 11.30 am. Totally sold out of course and I wasn’t paying tour prices. Good to know I wasn’t far from them. They sounded superb , judging by this video. Thanks.
This just doesn't get old. F'n brilliant Jarv and Pulp! I so so so wish I was going to Finsbury to see an old(er) favourite together with a new favourite... Last minute lottery win? Anyone???
@@Britpop938 yeah I can’t believe I’m getting to see them live tbh. One of my favourite bands as a kid. So many memories of his and hers and different class particularly.
Just goes to show that Brit pop wasn't a media orchestrated fad but a genuine moment of epically good bands all existing in the same cultural moment in time ... Pulp , Ocean Colour, Supergrass, Oasis, Blur ( hell I was in into Blur in 89 / 90 ... They played the same year as Nirvana's first appearance at Reading ) ... Shed Seven (so under-rated), I could go on ....
Here's Pulp playing Common People and only about half a dozen mobile phones come out. You can tell this is the generation that used to watch Pulp before mobiles phones were a thing. Just enjoying the moment without having to film everything.
I saw them in Warrington recently ( vid on my channel for anyone interested) totally epic with the orchestra wasnt it! Jarvis and the rest of them have still got it!
You got to get rid of all the republicans and other right-wing people and movements before a band like Pulp would even consider to put their feet down in USA.
I’m not saying this isn’t good, because it is. It’s really good. But… I saw them the year they went imperial ‘95 I think. They played Glasgow Barrowlands in December that year and it was transcendent. Utterly, utterly blew that absolute roof off.
Yeh I cant see them reforming and playing there. I saw a bit of them when I went to Glastonbury in 95 (the prodigy headlined another stage) and they were good.

I’m f***ing crying already
Flying to London next week just for this ❤️
Did you enjoy it ?
Is it me or... he sounds better than in 2012 tour?
I am so happy rn, year ago would never think about reunion

Yeah I'm suprised, they sound amazing

Magnificent
Please come to America. We are in bad shape and need this magic 💕💕🫶🙏

Boom me straight back to 92?❤

Grande canção!
Just amazing the adrenaline pumping in the veins of pure music energy .
Vocals are great; less agile on stage. Saving himself for the Sheff gig!
Wow

Me too saw them in 96 in tiny club in providence ri. RIP Steve Mackey
funny, as I am watching this it reminds of the tv show Succession which I just finished watching
When your geography teacher turns out to be the collest front man on the planet!!
Jarvis
6-45.
The Colossus Of Sheffield
Finest band to come out of Sheffield
And Richard Hawley!
Human League , Def Leppard also..
Please be the suprise band at Glastonbury!!!! It would be epic!!!!!
Yeh I cant see them reforming and playing there. I saw a bit of them when I went to Glastonbury in 95 (the prodigy headlined another stage) and they were good.
Now that is an encore!!!! 😂
This has to be the churn ups at Glastonbury this year😮
Its foo fighters. Pulp on Saturday at 6.30
Hard to believe Jarvis is nearly 60.
Forget Jagger - Jarvis Cocker and Brett Anderson are the best British band frontmen of all time.
So true! Have seen Brett & Suede twice this year, one of those in tiny venue (Stereo Glasgow) and he is an u believable performer.
Supersonic
Why have all gigs become sing-a-longs? I wanna hear the artist, not some divs standing around me.
Change the gender and this song could be about Rishi Sunak.
It was a great social political song at the time , now we’re all totally fucking depressed.
Where did you go ?????
