- Since I moved to Cabo Verde, there have been so many things that have been very new for me. From their food, to their dressing, even down to the way they look. So in this seemingly long video 😬 I share with you some of the things that have definitely come across to me as a MAJOR SHOCK.
I hope you enjoy watching this one inspite of the terrible lighting 😋
Also, make sure to leave your comments below on which of the cultural disparities I mentioned was the strangest for you. And if you're a Nigerian living in another country or a Capeverdean or any other nationality living in Nigeria, I'd also love to know the things that have been a major culture shock for you.
See you in the next one 🍾

I’m Nigerian American, a huge shock to me is how often Nigerians throw around the word ashawo and call each other that with no regard. Here in the states, people have been shot for less😂😂
I’m a Nigerian I’ve been to Cape Verde . It’s OK, but I found other places abroad that are much nicer and easier to make money.
Omg in the Haitian culture the same thing with the having kids early and tattoos and hair color change or dreadlocks is like 😳🤯. In their mind they are thinking vagabond. 😒
Hello my sister how are you doing l really want to go to Cabo Verde
Hello. How are you doing? You can leave me a message on Instagram @uvsvlog and I will respond as soon as possible. Thanks.
I'm Nigerian and the Ankara thing pisses me off
Why?
Obrigada linda! I was blushing hearing you compliment my people.🥰
I have not been home in a while, but I enjoy watching videos of people who appreciate and enjoy our culture.💕
Sorry, we’re also very nosy and politically incorrect but most people mean well.😅
Are you Sharon my tik Tok friends
Please Reply me okey
You make it sound like we enable children to get pregnant.
Yikes, if anything your video sold Cape Verde to me and drove me even further away from Nigeria. Never going there, it sounds absurdly conservative and closeminded
Nobody invited you to come to Nigeria so zip it
Absurdly conservative because they don’t accept your alphabet rainbow community?😂 don’t go, they don’t want you there
