David, thank you for bringing the dummy training into real applications. Don't see enough of this on RUclips.

Why people wanted to call it a wrong Bong. It’s a cross Bong.

No disrespect to Sifu David Wong ...I think very highly of him...have seen much of his videos and he is an excellent instructor but I would be unfaithful to the art if I didn't point out the problem with the illustration of this application. The problem is that 1. Most people are right handed and if they know anything about fighting will lead with there left hand not there right 2.Nobody is going to leave there rear hand out there for you to execute your technique ..on them like their a wooden dummy. When you enter in to strike with your left... you leave yourself open for their rear hand straight to the face...unless you're really fast like Bruce Lee or Donny Yen or some highly advanced fighter and if you're relying on speed vs speed you are at a disadvantage to the faster person. Or you could execute a different Wing Chun technique where you strike with your left and bong or tan with your right..but that woukld not be the first 2 moves in Mook Yan Jong form. The proper execution of the first section of wooden dummy is first consider your opponents position if he is right handed or left handed if he is right handed as in most cases he will lead with his left hand...So you take the outside position and execute the first move....now you can execute the second move (grabbing behind the neck just like in the wooden dummy form..because you are out of range of his rear hand right. he has to cross over his center line to reach you...and the pulling down effect of the second move takes him off balance so he will never connect with his rear right hand as you grab his neck as you pivot...If he is a left handed fighter that leads with his right ..all you need do is just switch your position..but you should almost in all cases maintain the outside angle to keep your opponent off center ..while keeping your position on center. In a real fight you should more often than not take the inside position when you your opponent is trying grab you and grapple with you ..but if your dealing with a boxer stay on the outside and try to keep him off angle of center with your footwork.. I share this from experience as a former boxer with over 15 years of boxing competition and training experience and 7 years as a Wing Chun practioner and seeing what works in real situations

I see the third technique is just like a parry in sword play
