Not true for Alisaie, she is almost like G'raha and in the post Stormblood short story Y'shtola figures out that Alisaie is crushing hard on the WoL without even knowing it.

I like the idea of the WoL actually being a fantastic bard (just like Soken who the audio is of) but none of the scions ever having heard them play. They all go in expecting a grand show only to be met with this.
Thing is, the canon WoL never became a bard. He was only an Archer originally. Archer, Warrior, Dragoon, Monk, Samurai, Dark Knight, and Paladin are the classes he has access to. Not a single spellcaster at all lol.

It's difficult to set something as canon for the WoL due to the many different play styles (some people never even touched the featured jobs), but in my opinion a WoL who mastered all trades is closest to the WoL's character according to the lore.
I can imagine a scene of a Loporrit talking about wanting to record the WoL singing while Urianger passes by who mentions this to the other scions in passing. Thancred or Alisaie then push for a private concert for the scions and the WoL decides that this is the perfect opportunity for a prank.
