He has average vocals in every field, but he knows a lot of techniques, I can name a solid dosen vocalists who are better in their own fields, and I can definitely name a few vocalists who are better in all the fields.

But if you go to see a band live, theres a whole other dimension to music created. The visual experience of the bands stage performance is fundamental to creating a good atmosphere and a good gig. Otherwise you might as well face the other way or close you eyes. And also, where did I say their image was MORE important? I didn't. It was just a criticism of the guitarist. There are many bands which suck live but I still respect because the actual recorded music is fantastic. But if a band had a great image and terrible music I would obviously not like them. I also never said anything about "visual arts" or making it "aesthetically pleasing". Just that if the guitarist was less tame and boring, he would greatly improve the experience of seeing them live.

Dave is a great drummer but why does he have to rush everything to nearly unplayable speeds? haha
That's just a general problem when you play short sets - loads of bands tend to have to rush songs because of it.
