That's what good technique allows you to do. If you can make smooth transition between different ranges, that's what gives him this very diverse sound.
@Logan Wilder you don't know much about the techniques he's using or being a vocalist in general. He sounds amazing. Iv been a vocalist for over 12 years and trust me his technique Ins incredible. Trevor is also a monster though but Travis is in a league of his own. The only vocalist in metal even close is Kyo from Dir En Grey.

I saw them at a very small venue in Liverpool NY. I wanted to watch the show, so I just put my phone up and didn’t watch through it lmao. It was good enough for me 😂. But I am thankful this guy got this good of footage of this show

man every time I see a live show of cattle the crowd is always dead when they were at my city our crowd was fucking crazy everybody was in the pit
Hell's Abomination I would go apeshit at their shows.
I just saw them a couple weeks ago and I've never seen so many people get thrown over the barricade.
I saw them in boston a couple months ago and it was like being stuck inbetween two packs of rabid wolves it was so intense
in fact, if I were cattle, I would have grabbed chairs and sat down to play for this crowd, ya know, to match their enthusiasm

Tave Garcia I think the guy in the "Scour" t-shirt who is onstage (backstage crew presumably) is having a wild time. And by wild I mean that he is ,very thoughtfully headbanging.

no i like his voice more than in present. he become more technical now. as a vocalist myself he does a very good job. his technique is very hard esspecially with this range. so i give him all credits
@@kevindelaere1386 I think you misunderstood my comment. I wasn't comparing then vs now. I was saying I enjoy his lows. I know many people focus on his high screams as they are very unique. I was just highlighting that his guttural vocals should not be dismissed simply due to his amazing highs.

I saw them about a month ago. It was an amazing show!
1) It really made me upset that he wasn't even trying to hit those notes on Kingdom
2) I had no idea they added a rhythm player!
They technically don't, they actually had so many placing where guitars were layered over one another that the sound wasn't as thick or awesome live.
Most probable thing is that he was already tired, it was the last song after all. I'm a vocalist too, and sometimes by the last song I'm so tired I can't even breathe properly.
As a vocalist I unfortunately have never had the pleasure of doing major touring but I can only imagine how thrashed I would sound after months of touring. Not to mention their songs aren't short. To try and hit his range consistently throughout 10 songs in one night would be difficult not to mention doing it nightly on tour.
Sean Reynolds Yeah for sure. I'm just a selfish fan that asks too much of the bands I like hahaha. But yeah I get it. Even when I was playing multiple shows a month doing lead vocals, I had a hard time. Can't imagine how difficult it would be for guys that do it an average of 5 nights a week.

Cattle Decap are one of the best bands in the industry by a long shot, live and in the studio, and it's a real shame that their sound quality was dire because they actually put on a killer live show

This is the best audio I've ever heard from an extreme metal performance
I mean Death and Cannibal Corpse both have pro-shot live shows, but for Cattle this is pretty good. Hopefully Terrasite builds enough hype that they can get their own.

A.Its a festival, could be early in the day so people would be conserving their energy
B.Given that fact a decent amount of that crowd may have never heard the band before

Sad thing is that they are actually part of the bands management if I remember correctly. I remember seeing them with the band last October when I saw them live.

I saw these dudes by myself in Detroit on Easter Sunday in like 07 or 08. They played with the Daughters and The Locust. I drove home that night a changed man.

Idk when I go to metal shows I enjoy watching them play their shit live. Moshing here and there for the band. But i enjoy watching the band live. That's what you pay for. Witnessing it live. Or you can miss every thing that's happening by running around
Watch a lot of their live performances...NO ONE ever moves. I saw them a bunch of times in Philly. We showed love but most "fests" or outdoor shows they specifically do...stand still
Holy fuck you'd see the crowd in Toronto... DEC 2019 Death Atlas album played there. Holy fuck man the whole floor turned into a mosh pit.

We tried to get the crowd going, but there was only so much you can do to an early afternoon crowd who hadn't had enough beer yet. (I'm the guy with the bald head close to the camera at the start).
