  • 58 and 61-storey aerial towers going up on Bleury and St-Catherine street in Montreal, with occupancy starting in 2023. The two buildings will be connected on the 26th floor by the highest suspended skybridge ever built in Quebec, which will connect common areas with terraces.
One tower will be on the corner of Bleury and St-Catherine, it seems that the other, shown in this video, will be diagonally across from it and accessed from Jeanne-Mance below St-Catherine.
This is a view of the East side of the site, on Jeanne-Mance looking South, from the rear window of a commercial property on St-Catherine.
Saunas, spas, a "state of the art" gym, a film screening room, indoor and outdoor pools, spas, a library, a Hammam, a game room, a virtual golf room, a business centre, a car wash, "etc".
On top of the 40,000+ sq ft common areas, there will also be a 51,000 sq ft commercial centre with restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Also a courtyard/green space on the ground floor.
I have no idea if it will ever connect to Place des Arts and the Metro, but that would be pretty crazy.
I've seen residents further up the hill in the La Cite apartment complex comfortable enough to do their groceries in the ground floor shopping centre wearing only their bathrobes and pyjamas. I wonder if anyone would stretch that comfort zone to the Metro.

Montreal is a loved city by many. I've lived here my entire life (50+ years) If you're asking about this particular part of Montreal, it's very central, within 10-15 min walk of everything downtown. Chinatown is 4-5 min away too.
Those buildings will have views of Mount Royal to the North, the St-Lawrence River to the south, and likely all of Montreal and beyond.
Mask regulations are scheduled to be terminated mid-May, and likely some easing of other regs.
The city has condo developments underway all over the place. Parts of the city are becoming unrecognizable compared with a decade or so ago.
You can get by in Montreal without french, but you'll inevitably get some attitude from some Francophones if you don't speak the language.

@@Mattypantaloons Thank you very much for your nice reply. It does look like a happening area. Yes, hopefully they will finally remove the mask requirement soon, they have been delaying that.
