Thanks for the recap at the end of the video. Was playing my share of Grixis Dredge in the last couple of weeks. Darkblast was kinda good, but I can see how Loam gives more redundancy to the deck. Will shurely try this list.
Nice to see someone playing dredge in modern. (Btw Altanak is not particularly good against the control deck with orcish bowmasters you played against, its an infinite loop if they target Altanak. You're forced to draw all your deck while Altanak never receiving any damage)
Great work with the deck, excited to try it myself! Do you think the older tech of having 4 gemstone caverns in the sideboard for game 2 is too cute? Or do you think it might still work now?
I think loam+bloodys are too slow. The green manabase is bad too imo. I like the mana confluence for some side options to try. Maybe you can consider the Shriekhorn, core. when Dredge was tier and it's a not bad cmc1 enabler. You are doing a great work testing Dredge's limits. Congrats.
I believe Bloodghast is better than Ghoul in this particular build, as the chance of it coming in with flying and haste is fairly high. I used Shriekhorn in some earlier videos on the channel, but I’m still not convinced we have room for it right now. Thanks for the comment!

I think sideboard slots are getting more and more competitive, and Gemstone Caverns can mess with a four-color deck if you don’t have it in your opening hand.

I sincerely appreciate your efforts in Modern. I hope you continue to put out some Modern content regularly, this format needs you.
Ty! I'll continue uploading Legacy and Modern content from now on.
Love the R5G1 "Conflagrate your face for 7" line. Sometimes all you need is a Fireblast effect
I think I like this list better than the grixis one i've been running. The consistency from Loam seems like such a nice option.
Mate, you seem such a nice guy from these videos that I just bought what I was missing to build Dredge (70€ of cards, not that much) in modern. 😂
Welcome to Dredge! 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♂️

Hi, thanks! That scenario isn't a loop if you have a dredger in the graveyard.
@@MahfuzVanGogh you mean the replacement effect/action of dredge isn't a draw? That's good to know. Thanks
Correct it is not considered a draw. Because it is a dredge. Bowmasters is not very good with it.
