- Tasilyn (she broke her arm falling off trampoline) had a cast on for a few weeks. Before removing the pins from her arm, the doctor asked my wife to hold her because it was going to hurt. My wife's response, "Tasi's a really tough cookie. She'll handle it without any issues". She sure did!
She looked at the nurse like bitch you better not hurt me
If looks could kill!
What a tough a brave kid
Tough little big child. Love how you’re dealing with it all. Keeping it on an even keel. Gee wish I could have been there. At that ago I lived through an airplane crash in Oakland. Not easy at all and most kids don’t have to go through such events. Bless you all. Major Jim Waters, three Purple Hearts from war. Even I cried
Thank you for your service
What a cutie.i love the way she looks at the nurse.

Yup!
There are 2 pins in my fourth and fifth toe which needs to be removed tomorrow. This kid smile gave me strength .

My little sis looked like her sounded like her had the same pins at the same places and the same brakes that’s scary
Son, is that you???
Man, wonder how she "bork" her arm, ey? Must've hurt.
Ha! I never caught that before
I Like Her I Love Her
That is one tuff girl
Yes she is!
opaddsaw Why is it a characteristic that kids (& adults) have to be tough??? It is ok to cry and need to be comforted when hurt, either physically or emotionally. As a medically complex child who has gone through so many medical procedures, needles, etc I was told I was tough and brave. However, what this really meant was that I was not to show my feelings or cry, causing a lot more trauma that I am still dealing with an adult. Sorry, end of rant. Awesome little girl, even with all of the looks and tears.
I don't think anyone is saying that being tough is not crying. I think they are saying she's a cute and tough little cookie and that they like her reactions and looks toward the nurse. I don't see any comments criticizing kids that cry - especially about kids who are constantly in the hospital. Those kids have every right to cry. They, too, are tough.
Dam, she was a bit brudle taking out those pins. That was way to rough.
Thought the same thing
