@@omaiga9335bro theres different between nerfing and making it complete trash. Lv 100 tower Pursuit is much much better than lv 175 tower now. Even using gatling manuallly to get pierce means nothing now because of insane dps nerf
its really good because its basically accelerator but with splash and stun immunity, although its way too weak to beat fallen by itself, so i recommend bringing a tower like engineer or ranger.
I would also recommend to place it rather inconvenient places because you can just relocate its targeting. Just not too far so it still gets buffs from support towers like commander and dj.
considering the fact that they made apocalypse military base into an entire new skin with the same concept they'll probably do that with the hotshot pursuit skin they leaked a while back and might release it in the molten update

Even before the rework, pursuit was one of my favorite towers. Against a stronger boss, they'd bunch up around it and shred its health. Now with the rework, I've got an excuse to use this tower consistently.
my only gripe with this rework is that it doesnt change the "every level before the final one is ass" 1-3-5 STILL remain the better upgrades, with in-betweens feeling like they change absolutely fuck-all. had the devs doubled down on the late game aspect i feel like Pursuit couldve gotten away with much more DPS for what you put your moneys worth, but the max levels work good enough.

Aka "WHOA WE LOVE TWO SLIMES SPAWNING IN AS FAILED EXPERIMENTS!!!") but tips for using it: if you are using it for main dps, bring ace for hidden giving... But you could also bring gcrook for the amazing hidden detec + amazing early-late game clearing so pursuit can be placed later
bro I swear if every tower gets reworked and has two upgrade paths the game is giga screwed. It just shatters the already broken meta. Having the ability to take a tower that you can either get for dps or splash damage (I know the splash damage path is horrible right now) is not good for the game. Especially because the game was not built upon the foundation of being able to do this.
if tds had a endless mode... yeah Pursuit might be top tier, but it's high cost (and the fact that in some gamemodes you need a strong early game tower more than a devastating lategame tower...) makes it probably on the same level as on release gatling gun. (also the targeting might be more reliable, but it is still very much limited to "you managing cooldowns" better than your average brawler user)

You should start a new series where you use specific tower combinations to beat either molten or intermediate. Ill give you one: The TF2 Loadout: use slugger gladiator, fortress demoman, no skin mingunner, and mechanic engineer on intermediate. You can also use farm to replace any tower even if theres no skin for it.
Here’s a tip: get ace pilot 1st to level 4. That way, you don’t gotta worry about the hiddens/ shadows and not worry about getting all max top path pursuit
@@lanzrivera6203 the top is still more useful, since you can now move it wherever you want and top has more dps anyways and more uses. bottom path is only good for crowds while top is good for bosses and its good for just shredding crowds anyways so bottom is completely bad but top is just a lot better.

It may just stop attacking after killing an enemy even if there are enemies within its patrol range but not in its attack range. 3. It may not attack the first enemy in its patrol range and instead lock onto something within its attack range, even if it doesn't have aggro, which can lead to leaks. So not perfectly consistent like a normal tower with normal range and targeting.
It's been mandatory for years. I'm fine with it being on the bottom for now lol so I can actually see smth other than the accel+sub-dps+commander cores

F*ck you man. I am tired of this sh*t. TDX does NOT own the multi path feature. Very much by the contrary, Bloons Tower Defense does. The reason TDS and TDX even exist is because of BTD. It was the first TD game to exist and to create multi-path upgrades, along with consumables, and Tower blitz was the first to implement the multi-path upgrade feature into Roblox, then TDX and TDS with Pursuit now.
btw you can use mercenary base to get even 40%damage buff if you place it close to your dps towers (you also need the dj red track for the another 20%)
I will still consider mortar as a better splash damage tower. And also, I think I really prefer the old pursuit more... I don't know, its value just got worse an is gonna get nerfed any time soon just like ace pilot. More importantly, I liked the old pursuit max level design more ;(

fun fact the reason it has 2 paths is because tdx used the mafia tower from tds and tds took some insperation from tdx for the rework hence the 2 paths (both games good and on good terms now)

i love engineer because its a all rounder tower can handle anything if used right hiddens? leads? flying enemies? need high dps and splash? engi has it i like pursuit way more than i did because it has that same potential
It must’ve took so long for them to code and make the whole 2 path system for the pursuit, and I’m surprised no other tower has done anything like this until now from both release and rework!
I think that the pursuit might be best used in events or special gamemodes where money doesn’t matter too much because then you will have so much money only the max dps will matter rather than cost efficiency

Now has a built in micro so ce doesn't matter too much since ur gonna have full map range on most maps
@@VVooshbait Yeah sure, the full map range can take up for it but, 20 seconds cooldown + requiring constant maintenance to place the patrol range can be a problem.

fun fact the reason it has 2 paths is because tdx used the mafia tower from tds and tds took some insperation from tdx for the rework hence the 2 paths (both games good and on good terms now)

i love engineer because its a all rounder tower can handle anything if used right hiddens? leads? flying enemies? need high dps and splash? engi has it i like pursuit way more than i did because it has that same potential

I think that the pursuit might be best used in events or special gamemodes where money doesn’t matter too much because then you will have so much money only the max dps will matter rather than cost efficiency
