Sam you forgot to add chaos angel! Rod and dark magician is a free chaos angel, which banishes one card by itself, then eternal soul with magical circle for another banish!
It’s unfortunate that Konami can’t make full arc type support for slifer and obelisk
They have a few signature spells and traps as well as the slime engine/guardian slime, but its not super competitive.

I think if they had a way to search their attack spells "fist of fate and Thunder force attack". They would be way better.
@@mrtoast3319 I’m saying why didn’t they just make better support cards that just work with Slifer and obelisk but they cards to work with their gimmick effects I feel like would be the way to go then after that then I would start adding god card extra deck monsters to make easier but also to make them more of meta decks around them

You could probably have both slifer and obelisk in the same deck, just replace one slifer with an obelisk, get rid of the trap tricks, play 2 thrusts, play 1 less talents, play foolish and play one soul energy max. Think that would probably better

I wish one day this game be Bo3, would be like in table tournaments that are even Bo5. It isn't fair at all to depend on a game in which you can clearly be better, but the opponent got one or two casual cards the first turn that break (two infinity, flowers, feather, solemms...)
Most best engine with sky dragon is Labrynth, make easy search or dumping The Revived Sky God.

This card is a good power boost for the Egyptian god archetype.
We need more darkn magician support to make it more viable its one of my favorites but just lacks additional extenders in the archtype that work well enough to make it good
At least they're better off than Blue Eyes.... Both really need more love.

Dark magician is the archetype that has the most!!! Support printed in ygo from any archetype.
Like... the gameplan is just old and krusty.
Any meta deck from 2015 can roll over dark magician with support from 2023.
But DM has like 50 plus cards of support some archetypes be having 8 cards total… deck doesn’t need more support let’s be honest.
Play duelinks dark magician and black luster decks are currently the most broken decks in the game and has caused my fewd with all dark magician and black luster decks

I’ll admit that I can stand people on yugioh who take what feels like 5 minutes to set their field just to have it to where I can’t seem to play a single card without them countering it instantly and just erasing my hand before I can even set the field or that people who just clear my field after I set up on first go and I just one turned.

I like using the face card knights (Jack's Knight, Queen's Knight, and King's Knight.) along with Thunderspeed Summon. True name is fun and I always keep it in my deck but searching out Slifer and then normal summoning him feels great.
Let's be honest, this is Dark Magician with 7 God cards in it. Also sad that I finally have money to order card sleeves and the solid colored ones are all out of stock 😢

Slifer is by far the strongest cause it has a really good floodgate effect
Thats not how it works. His effect basically says that you cant chain any effect to his summon (you cant negate his summon). After he is summoned you can just destroy him with any card effect. Just not while he is being summoned.

There is a way to search slifer you have to use the kings queen and Jacks knight. Then use thunderspeed summon to get slifer then you can summon him also
