Definitely agree on the price of the AG APC, but it's not really marketed at people like us I guess, more for the casual users browsing in their local Halfords. I imagine it's strong enough to work, but like all AG products, not too strong that it'll stain plastics or cause issues if left to dry for too long. 👍🏼
What a cracking job Paul, that volvo looked fantastic. Like you, I can't buy a litre of APC, well, not unless I can knock it back to at least 50:1 that is. In fact, I go 100:1 with Surfex, to be used on the interior. That foam looked good at the ratio you used. All the best.
Black cars look amazing when cleaned properly and this one shone. APC wise - AG may be good but difficult to justify when you can get Koch Chemie Greenstar for about 6 quid a litre and it's dilutable. Great video, thanks for producing them.
I'm a big AG fan but us their Multiwash from the professional range as an APC. It's a versatile product, very dilutable and about £25 for 5 litres on Ebay. The Volvo came up lovely! You've inspired me to get out in the wind today and get a similar result on my wife's Melbourne Red 1 series. Well, after a quick cuppa!
Excellent video mate, really enjoyed watching this. Great turn around. I’ve been a huge fan of AG for years but with the likes of others being priced so much more competitively I probably would not be buying it Can’t wait for the next one pal
Nice turnaround Paul - very shiny finish and yeah those Volvos do look good when they're lowered. Think that AG APC is aimed at the newbie or occasional car cleaner who just wants to grab a ready to use product on lazy Sunday at that price. Anyone else is most likely using concentrated APCs diluted down with a decent sprayer for a fraction of the cost to do the same thing. Thanks for the video. 👍🏾
Another fantastic video Paul. The Autoglym APC looks quite a good product in how you used it. Do you think you would buy it if Autoglym produced it in their Professional user range in a 5 litre quantity?
Thanks for the video! Yes, I agree with you, too much $$$. My all purpose degreaser cost about $22.00 for 2.5 gallons. It is easy to buy, available almost anywhere and it is dilutable. The more you spend, the less goes into your pocket. Think, KISS principle.
The gloss from that TW was incredible, black cars come up so well! That AG APC is just far to expensive, I recently got 5L of a dilutable APC for £20 which will last the full year, id hate to try that RTU one on the interior or leather if it cleaned the exterior that well.
Great work Paul, Lovely shine, I'll have to try out Turtle Wax. I know AG products are quality, but I think they've lost the plot with that APC. How many washes do you get out of a litre, two?
People forget Autoglym have a large trade range and have clean all all purpose cleaner in 5 ltrs for about £26 which is a concentrate and very good and been out for yrs this ltr bottle more the weekend warrior and most other large brands do exactly the same
You beauty! The car that is! And of course you! I did a C30 once. It seems they have shit ducts designed into them. Just when you think it's done, they open up and cry shit out again 😂😂
Another great video Paul. You couldn't resist your old habits, wrong hole and two brushes at once still have me in fits of laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Great demo of all the products but I agree that £15 for an APC is asking a lot when even white label products cheaper. Personally I'll stick to Koch Chemie's Greenstar and Garage Therapy's decon shampoo. You worked your (little🤭🤭) hands off to get that car looking presentable again well done 👏👏. Latest podcast was great again, onwards and upwards to Specky and yourself 👍👍
Lovely Jubbly on the video Paul. I do think those wheel might of been refurbished at some point in their lives, if they haven't Volvo were excellent at painting wheels in their day. AG are taking the "mick" for the price of APC, sorry AG.
I'm sure it's a very nice product. I think this will be for the person just getting into detailing, as Halfords is the default starting place. They will think 'this will last me ages.' After the bottle vanishes in no time and they do more research and end up with a dilutable product. For me BH Surfex. I don't even buy the 1l anymore, just 5l.
What concerns me more than the price of the APC is that it’s clearly a strong degreaser with high PH but the bottle says it’s able to be used on leather too 🥴
@@PaulDoldenDetails you’d probably get away with a quick wipe over but if any soaked into stitching for example and not removed at a PH of 13.1 it will cause significant swelling and then cracking I believe.. and that’s not the kind of significant swelling we want 😂 Price wise I can see they have just gone a little cheaper than meguiars MPC so in Halfords land it makes sense but compared to one we can dilute ourselves both are crazy money
So Paul, half a bottle per wash? £7.50... Ha ha! 😉 I doubt Autoglym recommend it as a full-car pre-wash product though, do they?? I'll stick to Koch Chemie GS at 10:1 - about £1 a Litre. Good demo of effectiveness though of course! 👍
Hi John no they don’t recommend to use on a whole car hence just showing the lower parts to see how capable the cleaning power is I’m certainly with you on the cost front man this stuff is bucks
This is the problem it’s okay for the occasional driveway enthusiast but for everyone else it doesn’t make sense bulk buy is always the best option Ben👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks mate 👍🏻🇬🇧
Owning a black car myself, the satisfaction of a good clean is unmatched 👌
That Black looks amazing now! Fantastic!

Another fantastic and informative video Paul
Very glossy
Been a while since I've watched any cleaning videos on RUclips. Had to be one of yours that I started back with though Paul 😉
Just fantantics results again, Paul job well done
Awesome results.
Very nice video. I love your very detailed explanations of the products. I need to do some more of that in my videos....
One of the best cleans I have seen, looks like it has come straight out of the show room😊,have a good weekend
Nice job Paul. Car looks great! 😎👌🏼
Another great video Paul and car looked brilliant those products really made that colour pop
Great video! Its all about the shine, go Turtle Wax!
The car looks lush mate, you've done it some justice there! 👌
You’re really making me miss my c30
Great job Paul. While black cars tend to be a nightmare to detail, you got it done easily
Totally agree, looks a good apc but it is very expensive. I’ll stick with getting bilt hamber surfex HD 5L for a couple of quid more

Grand Video Paul,
I agree with you on the AG Apc!
Very Good production including Rover Metro action!😊
Superb work Paul. Results are superb.

Car came out great. Nothing more rewarding than cleaning a black car. To bad you'll enjoy it for about 5 minutes😂.
I have the APC and mitt but haven't had the chance to use them yet. Great gloss from turtlewax
Excellent video mate, really enjoyed watching this.
Great turn around.
I’ve been a huge fan of AG for years but with the likes of others being priced so much more competitively I probably would not be buying it
Can’t wait for the next one pal
Great transformation 🙂
Cracking job as always Paul. That’s one expensive APC aimed at the Halford crowd will have to see if the bring a dilutable version in their pro range
mega gloss! looking good Paul, nice to see a decent make of tyres on the car as well, not ditch finder 4000's
I’ve ordered some of that TW QD to try Paul, I’ll check for wind 😀

Great video Paul 💪 I thought you might have got yourself some dry helmet by now 😅
Totally enjoyed this one Paul ,another great video great review and chat. What make was the drying towel please look well plush ! ❤
Metro bomb 🙌
Hello Paul, well that is a difference, the car has gloss paintwork.the Auto Glym APC worked well but a bit pricey.the wheels came out really clean.
Cheers Steve hope your well my friend 👍🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails yes I'm ok Paul,thanks.👍
Hi Paul great video quick question in your opinion what's the best wheel cleaner? Which one would you buy?
I tend to use wheel shampoos with APC then fallout remover look at Garage therapy Decon shampoo and wheel shampoo
Thanks for the video! Yes, I agree with you, too much $$$. My all purpose degreaser cost about $22.00 for 2.5 gallons. It is easy to buy, available almost anywhere and it is dilutable. The more you spend, the less goes into your pocket. Think, KISS principle.
Switzerland??????

That AG APC is just far to expensive, I recently got 5L of a dilutable APC for £20 which will last the full year, id hate to try that RTU one on the interior or leather if it cleaned the exterior that well.
100% agree with you. I use surfex at 100:1 on my interior, so to use a strong neat APC in there scares the life out of me.
Is there a reason why you use these drying towels instead of the higher GSM double twisted loop?😊
I’ve actually got both to be honest which ever takes my fancy on the day
@@PaulDoldenDetails okay, thanks for answering 😊
Great work Paul, Lovely shine, I'll have to try out Turtle Wax. I know AG products are quality, but I think they've lost the plot with that APC. How many washes do you get out of a litre, two?
Good job fella. What are the wheels sitting on ?
Rimmats link under video 👍🏻🇬🇧

Paul, comment on the ceramic detailer I use cost about $30.00 (US) per gallon. Leaves a great protection for a detailer. Thanks again!
Is that a new tyre brush I spot paul?
No mate it’s the SGCB one had it a while
that came up a treat 😎😎👍👍👏👏
You beauty! The car that is! And of course you! I did a C30 once. It seems they have shit ducts designed into them. Just when you think it's done, they open up and cry shit out again 😂😂

Agreed, 15 quid for a APC is way too much

Alien Magic’s APC is hyper concentrated and amazing value for money in the 5L variant. RTU products are not often worth it.
It was yourself, Paul that first introduced me to their products a few years back and I use all their products ever since, so thank you 🙏🏼
Did you do your sons car too?
That was the last video
What concerns me more than the price of the APC is that it’s clearly a strong degreaser with high PH but the bottle says it’s able to be used on leather too 🥴
Not the best description Nick is it and the price

I agree with you about Autoglym their products are fantastic but they are over priced. 5litres of rubber dressing is more expensive than their HD Wax
👍🏾🛞💜
I’d never buy a RTU APC when you can get 5 litres of Surfex for 20odd quid and dilute that down to 10%. Cost per litre then is ridiculously cheap.
This is the problem it’s okay for the occasional driveway enthusiast but for everyone else it doesn’t make sense bulk buy is always the best option Ben👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails I even use surfex round the house to clean the kitchen and bathrooms etc, but that’s because I’m a tight……..
About time for a nice video but at a time I am sleeping. Don't worry I will adjust properly to be first 😂😂😂😂
Bilt hamber every day 4 me
