I love watching Pastor Allen he is so easy to understand and a deeply caring Christian. Any child who does not have a father figure, really needs to subscribe to this channel. I feel like I am watching my father and he is talking to me... I have been blessed with amazing parents and everyone should have someone to teach to them like this! Good message, thank you! Needed more than ever, for all of us. Five steps: (1) Be consistent early in your day, (2) pray to prepare for an understanding and impact, clarity of meaning, (3) directly read (less study and see the big picture in) the Word (1-3 chapters per day) and think on it to internalize what God is saying, one central meaning, but some possible applications, (4) meditate on this word, dwell on it and review it, filling your mind, and self evaluate, (5) and then pray to apply it, properly and for great effect. Amen! Read devotionals and books later in day or week
I've been watching maybe 1 of your sermons a day, it usually takes me 2 hours because of stopping and taking notes, but I haven't really been reading scripture on my own. When I do I feel like there are things I miss, or that i don't fully comprehend. Do I need to set aside some time just to read on my own?
Study the Bible for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you. There’s a lazy spirit in the body of Christ. The pastor is not saying anything new it’s written in the word.

That’s right pastor Nolan you could be wrong by your interpretation of the scripture. That’s why we need the Holy Spirit to help us understand the word of God.
Absolutely spot on for what God has been trying to get me to understand recently. My quiet time has become like an out of control shrub that was in desperate need of a good trimming. 😅 Trimming has commenced. Thank you Lord for reaching me through Pastor Allen this morning.

Well, I have to say that I don't expect anyone to see this, but for me know it don't matter. For me, I understand that GOD know, and HE cares. Thank you, FATHER, for your love, and thank you for your SON. Because of you I live. You save my life my FATHER, and your SON, saved my soul. In the name of JESUS, I thank you.
Pastor.. I believe the bible was written with intention and accurately..
When it says in Genesis, "the four corners and the CIRCLE of the Earth" i believe He meant Circle (two dimensional) Ancient Aramaic and Hebrew had a word for Sphere (three dimensional).. So if God meant Spear (globular) why didn't He use the word for Sphere. The firmament (dome) over the earth.. And because of this, i don't believe it is possible to travel to the moon unless the sun and moon are within the dome we call the VanAllen belts (that have 12k seiverts of radiation) We learned from Fukushima that the 5.67 seiverts of radiation fried a modern robot sent in to take photos and nothing was recoverable.. So cameras and humans traveling thru 12k seiverts is a virtual impossibility.. (they could not survive)
Yes i believe God didn't make a mistake the Word of God is Truth... Maybe your Greek training can shed light on the difference between these originally Aramaic words, and how they translated from Greek to English to mean Circle and Sphere. I believe the bible already answered these questions. Take into account that the Ancient Hebrew word nasa (pronounced Na-sha') is defined as "to Deceive"...

Psalm 5 said after praying to wait. Your steps didn't say to wait after praying. Many Christians dont do this thus don't here from God. I am also guilty on this at times.

When he puts the verse up on screen the version he’s using is usually noted next to it.
I saw NLT, NIV, and NKJ in this teaching.
