Marie is a huge example of Vought's utter waste of supers on fake crimefighting. Blood control would be INCREDIBLY valuable medically, but no, let's more or less force her into attempting to fight (usually fake) crime through self-harm.

Lots of supers would do great in non crime fighting/non media endeavors.
But that would make them much more difficult to control.
Marie Moreau in any city trauma unit would be very welcome, for example.

You missed the plots point of Kate erasing Sam's emotions to make him more compliant and Kate and Andre having an affair before Luke's death.
Also the whole Tek Knight subplot would've been cool to mention.

I actually think Golden Boy didn't kill himself but rather that Marie incognizantly used her powers due to sheer panic and shock just like what happened with her parents but not even she is aware of it yet.
