I can't imagine a giant anteater, who distance itself this far from it's offspring. They always carry the child. But at least, they have well designed looks and movements, and are very cute.
Altough I'm dissapointed with the number of animals in this pack...the models do look really cool. Only the baby jaguar looks a bit wonky indeed, it's snout is too big or something
nOOOO they could've added the Argentine black and white tegu, it would've been such a nice lizard for habitats (like Komodo and Nile). We need more free roaming reptiles, like Iguanas, ect, we should be able to have more creativity on how to contain them, even if they can't be in "open" exhibits, maybe we'd have to build enclosures with roofs ect. Which is better than just shoving them in a box and basically being a glorified statue.

And I can't even count how many times people have come up to me saying there's a dead animal on the pasture. I always have to tell them "oh don't worry, they're just enjoying the sun" haha
This DLC has nearly everything good, but misses just 1 thing... THE SLOTHS! Damn it Frontier, make BIS happy. But ok. But I can't believe that he made the Eco Friendly zoo not so eco friendly, because 3 animals don't have the right habitat.

I really hope they focus on the animal pattern/coloration as well as improving some in game problems/behaviours. They're responding to feedback which is good but I want to see some good response to putting my money into this game. I want to see baby animals stay close to mom. Herd behaviour and tracking. I don't want to have to remove multiple males from certain animal species, its natural for them to fight and natural for males in some species to coexist in a habitat that is large enough to allow the behaviours, my storage is full of males I want to keep), colour variation to make my animals more unique to me, I would like to see UI improve so I can work on my breeding programs in-game rather than on a separate excel doc lol I love this game I've wasted a lot of time on it but I just want a bit more from the devs where I'm not paying for more content that seems unfinished... ant eaters eating meat?
I wish they leaked the list of dlc packs they plan on releasing! Hopefully having aquariums is one of them, would really love to build an aquarium or add fish to water features in different exhibits
@Lazer Chicken I feel like they can make the exhibits, the ones housing frogs, snakes, scorpions, have a feature to make it at least an aquarium. I would also like them to create more designs for those exhibits like ones 2 to 3x the size of current ones
Since you mentioned that something seems a bit off about the baby Jaguar.... I really think it's the size of his head in proportion to his body. It may be true to real world(although my research tells me otherwise), but it looks very 'inflated'. Its head is only somewhat smaller than its grown counterpart and it's especially apparent because we are already familiar with the baby animals of other big cats (& they don't have this inflated, balloon head look).
Anteaters are threatened by dog attacks!? Those things kill jaguars like they're nothing, what kind of steroid-infused mutt would be able to take down a mighty anteater?
In fact feral dog are even more dangerous than juagar or tiger because they hunt in pack and du to selection are more fearless :) this info about wild dog can be true :) Btw, wilds dogs are even know to be more dangerous than a pack of wolves again bc they are more aggressive ^^

@Lazer Chicken Yup, true, but maybe if they had kept the business and building aspects of the game to just a basic level, they could have focuses more on the animals. It's Planet Zoo, after all. If I enjoyed building I'd buy AutoCAD. I bought this game to care for animals.
I think all of these animals are great additions, red-eyed tree frogs are my favorite amphibian. Jaguars are just super cool, the llamas are super cute! The monkeys are cool too, overall this is a great DLC.
I'm one second in and that path is H.I.D.E.O.U.S!! Sorry Frontier, I'm sure some people will love it, but it is a choice. Now that that's out of the way, keen to see the rest of the pack!
I can see where your coming from, In my opinion it's not hideous, but it's not good looking either. I would only ever use that path for a heavily themed zoo

The game is incorrect, It says jaguars are in El Salvador but actually they aren’t, along with pumas. They’ve both been declared extinct in the country since 2011, the main theory of why they went extinct was because of deforestation and the civil war in the country.
Nice job hitting on the key missing animals in this pack: capybara, sloth, and caiman. I would've also suggested macaws and howler monkeys or coati's (instead of the capuchins).
the zoo i volunteer at has Giant Anteaters and Baird's Tapirs together so that is something real zoos do(they also share it with Patagonian Cavys, turtles, ducks, and some Bar Necked Geese, and a lot of Tilapia)

To be fair in real life they mostly move the same, they're all related. In this case, reused animations are acceptable. At least the adults have unique animations like how it jumps onto the rubbing pad.

I'm Brazilian and when I saw that a South America pack was coming I got really anxious but when I saw it I got a bit disapointed. The most biodiversed place in the world received only 5 animals... I'm gonna writte down some animals it could have been added: Golden Lion tamarin; Capybara; Black cuxiú; Guara wolf; Northern Muriqui; Marine Turtle; And much more. If they add in the future birds to Planet Zoo at least 50% of them should come from the Amazon forest. I hope to see in the future my favorite animal, if you want to search for it his name is "Arara Azul", in english is "Blue Arara". Sorry for my english, my native language is Portuguese.

I would love a open world style game but you visit zoos around the world like assassins creed or Disneyland adventures type of game having an open world but you can visit collections such as ZSL London Zoo, San Diego Zoo, Woburn Safari Park, Antwerp Zoo, Planete Sauvage etc, also having a time travel element so you can visit zoos back when they first opened to see how different they are from today, that would be amazing, and Another element that there could be is that you have to complete tasks to progress various zoos like one task could be to help with the animals and once you have completed that missions another part of the zoo is unlocked or a Animal house could be unlocked for you to explore.
really, couldn't add some capibaras, or spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, so many types of monkeys you can easily add, or at least tapirs, more of the unique and beautiful species the south and caribbean have to offer.

In 10:35, the Zoopedia says guests can enter the giant anteater habitat. I am pretty sure you can't in real life

Is it just me who loves the fact that on the zoopedia it tells you if the guest can walk through the habitat or not (eg. Jaguar)
