I have a friend that hauls trash for a living. He has his own business. I used to think that it was a dirty business and sometimes I felt sorry for him. That was until he told me how much he was making a week. Well, he was making a lot of money. Last month he moved into his new 2 million dollar home. I have been thinking of buying myself a trash hauling truck. It might be a good side gig.
I started a business with my dad in rural area. Our state Corp. for trash is really bad and you never know when they'll pick up our trash 🗑 My dad and I started it as 50/50 partners. He's been working for long time and this is the business that's already gonna put him home every day and making more then what he's been making. Trash really is gold
Don't know why you were recommended, but massive kudos to you. I'm a recent layoff victim and myself thinking of going the being my own boss route (though in my area this particular business probably wouldn't work) . You are the truest definition of a man in every sense. May God continue to bless you and your business.
Good job man, not only are you doing good in your business you seem like a natural RUclipsr, very good speech delivery and editing skills keep it up man, God bless.
Glad I found your channel. I work at a plant that has roll off dumpsters and I just never thought about that being a profitable business. You’re helping me look more at those things or ideas in ways I haven’t before. Thank you for that. Maybe one day I’ll be working for myself, just how you are.
Im soaking up the knowledge your sharing and so appreciate it! I'm super interested in how you are loading the residential cans? I worked for a small trash company in the summer in OK when I was 16. They had two large compactor trucks and I dont know how many customers but I rode the back of that truck all day. The driver was a demolition derby driver on the weekends. ❤
Currently we do bagged trash removal unless it’s in our roll off containers then it can just be thrown in by customers and we dump it hydraulically at the landfill
Thanks for sharing your business journey with use! I look forward to each video you post. Could you let me know what size trash bin you use for you residential service? I assume you do a once a week pickup. I've looked on some of the manufacturer sites but they don't list prices? Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Great info Brother! I just came across this channel last week. Thanks for sharing truth no nonsense content. I can appreciate it 💯. Not sure if you have done this but can you break down a video about "if your starting with nothing how would you start your waste management business"? I specifically would love to see even how to build it new to 1k a week and how long realistically it would take if you put in the work. Thanks again man, just considering this business as another source of income. 😎🤙

In the town I live in weekly trash pick up is provided by the city and is included in my monthly city utility bill which covers trash, water, and sewer. It’s not optional.
I like the idea of dumpster rentals and having the residential pickups.. But You really make a lot more doing full-service cleanouts though with a lot less equipment and expenses.

I tell everyone to make sure they check with their town/city to see what is required to start hauling (all can be different) then I would call around some friends/family members to see if they are happy with their current service!
How do you dump the roll off trailers? On average how much is the dump bill? What's average weight on 11yrd bin sitting at a remodel full of tile and sheet rock ?
Question. Can you point me in the right direction for dumpster rental agreement for customers to sign. Any advice or examples would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
